Former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger is encouraging everyone to practice safe social distancing and to take the recent pandemic seriously.

He recently took to social media to help spread awareness along with the help of his adorable pet donkey and miniature pony.

With both pets making a cameo in a video, Schwarzeneggar said, “See the important thing is, is that you're staying at home, because there's a curfew now, no one is allowed out, especially someone who is like 72 years old. After you're 65 you're not allowed out of the house anymore in California, so we stay home and we eat here."

Schwarzenegger then tried to feed his pets (Whiskey and Lulu) while they were moving around and asking to be fed.

He continued, “… See that's what we do, we don't go out, we don't go to restaurants, we don't do anything like that anymore here. We just eat. With Whiskey and LuLu, we have a good time, we get entertained.”

He then talked about how it was much more fun staying in with his adorable pet friends than going outside to risk being exposed to the coronavirus.

Some celebrities like Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and Idris Elba have not been as fortunate as The Terminator actor and have come forward saying they have been diagnosed positive with the virus,

Elba just announced his diagnosis on March 16 saying, "Hey, what's up, guys. So look, this morning I got some test results for coronavirus, and it came back positive. Yeah, and it sucks. Listen, I'm doing okay. Sabrina hasn't been tested, and she's doing okay."

The actor made sure to encourage his fans to stay in and keep up with washing their hands and that this matter should not be taken lightly.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were among the first celebrities to announce that they had the virus. But, fortunately there is a bit of good news. The two have been released from a Queensland hospital in Australia and are now in self-quarantine at their home there, a representative for Hanks told CNN on Monday.

Hanks and Wilson were in Australia due to Hanks doing pre-production work on an upcoming film based on the life of Elvis Presley. Hanks is set to play the role of Presley's manager, Colonel Tom Parker, with the film directed by Baz Luhrmann. However due to the recent pandemic, production on the project is currently suspended until further notice.
