The model shared the mind-blowing pictures on Instagram, along with a lengthy message about how staying in shape helps her feel so much better, not only physically but mentally. Jordyn Woods Points Out Fitness ‘Saved’ Her Life!
The stunning pictures come on the heels of Jordyn revealing fitness literally “saved” her life.” The model described being faced with the death of her father in 2017, just a few weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer. “When I did go through my grief, I realized that the thing that saved me was really fitness. What saved my mental health, what saved my life was fitness. And I didn’t work out to look a certain way, I didn’t work out to fit a certain group or to fit certain clothes,” she told Yahoo.
Adding, “I just worked out because it really saved my life and my mental health. And then I realized there are so many more people out there in the world that probably are dealing with the same thing.”
Hard Work Pays Off!
In the end, Woods pointed out, “I’m always preaching self-love. And I think the things that I’ve said over the years have really stuck with my sister and my peers, just that your individuality is your greatest gift,” adding, “It’s really cool to see that the way that I might have felt about my body or whatever, [Jodie] doesn’t really experience the same thing. It’s one of the ways I’m here to help her.”
