Angela Simmons is staying home, just like millions of Americans as the novel coronavirus sees the U.S. gripped – over 3,000 cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed, with celebrities including Serena Williams already self-isolating.
Angela didn’t confirm self-isolation in her latest Instagram update, but the “Growing Up Hip-Hop” star and daughter to rapper Rev Run did mention not going out. She also mentioned not letting the tempting snacks get to her. For fans of the 32-year-old, though, Angela was the snack today.
Angela’s video (seen below) showed her at home and engaging in a variety of reps as she worked out her entire body. The brunette was seen balancing on one leg and arm as she lunged her leg behind her, also showing off her impressive core strength as she trained her abs with both legs raised in the air – and no arm support.
The wardrobe was colorful, fun, and revealing as Angela visibly sweated it out. The reality star wore a tiny pair of black shorts, a bright orange sports bra, plus a blue waist-trainer. Opting out of shoes, Angela simply trained in socks.
Angela took to her caption to share more.
“My cool down after my bike ride …. indoors or not .. still gotta do something !!! The Snacks won’t get the best of me ??!!! Stay safe guys !! And take some of this time for you #BnB @purpose_app,” she wrote.
Purpose app is the star’s newly-launched networking app seeking to “empower and support one another through all dimensions of womanhood.” The app’s Instagram account already has over 49,000 followers.
As to the comments, they spanned everything from social distancing amid COVID-19 and the app, to Angela’s fierce workout body.
And she is. Angela’s video quickly racked up views – over 32,000 were clocked in one hour.
“Get it girl!” one fan wrote.
“Sexy mama,” another said.
Meanwhile, others mentioned coronavirus.
“Be safe honey ???????,” a fan wrote, with many others echoing the sentiment.
While advice from health experts hasn’t yet reached the point of city lockdowns, the recent news that both Los Angeles and New York City have forced all bars and restaurants to close is reinforcing the self-distancing concept. Earlier today, Taylor Swift encouraged people to do just this and stay home.
Angela launched her app on February 20, marking it via a sizzling Instagram post showing her glowing as she posed in a black bikini.
“Real Women – Real Stories …
I am Angela Simmons … I grew up in Queens , Ny … I gained my confidence through truly loving myself no matter what. I learned the true meaning of love when I stopped putting up with BS others bring to the table. Ok is not ok for my life! I want incredible!! So I’m going to get it !,” the caption read.
