We all know Beyoncé, and the insane amount of popularity the young star has garnered over the years. From a member of Destiny’s Child, the young star ended up becoming a multi-million dollar, best selling artist, movie-star, philanthropist, and performer (that’s only half the list).
Now you are probably reading the headline, and thinking, is Beyoncé in the freelancing game now? Possibly, that is if you are insanely rich. For the right price, there’s a possibility Beyoncé would do a public event like a wedding. But how much would this really cost you?
Over the years, Beyoncé’s team has apparently calculated a specialized fee to charge for her to perform for special events (you have to be really rich to be considered). The number is somewhere near the $2 Million range, for personal events, like a wedding.
During the $100 million wedding of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal in India, Beyoncé asked for this much (2 Million). Isha Ambani is the daughter of Asia’s Mukesh Ambani, which happens to be one of the richest people in the world.
Beyoncé also has a price for one-shots at music festivals. It costs one million more, as if it were an easy feat to shovel over an extra million, but in some people’s eyes, she’s worth it.
An example of this is at Coachella, where the star was paid the agreed upon price of $3 Million to perform on stage. The set was 105 minutes, and if you do the math that is $28,571 per minute on stage, seems like a decent gig.
Now let’s put this in perspective for a moment. If this is how much Beyoncé gets paid for one time events, how much bank does she make on world tours?
Back in 2018, Beyoncé, and her husband Jay-Z went on a huge tour (titled: On the Run II Tour) and amassed a whopping $250 Million in ticket sales. We can imagine that tours can be grueling endevours, but if you are getting paid in the 9-digits, I guess you can say its worth it.
Even with the insane $250 Million that Beyoncé, and Jay-Z racked in on their tour, they were beat out by Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour, which earned $345 Million in world-wide sales ($266.1 Million Domestically), followed by Kanye West. But I doubt the couple is complaining about their profits.
Weddings are crazy expensive already, but if you happen to have $2 Million to spare after you’ve set up your wedding, you just may be able to get Beyoncé to sing for you.
