Since the coronavirus pandemic began, a few celebrities have been affected, and others have spoken out about the epidemic. Yesterday, 15th March, Ariana Grande took to her Twitter to air out her frustrations with youth who are taking the coronavirus ‘lockdown’ as a joke.
She had noticed that so many youths are still making plans for outdoor activities like clubbing where there are, obviously, crowds of people. She later shared the same message on her Instagram story with a few follow tweets and retweets as well.

After posting that heartfelt tweet, many fans responded and retweeted to spread the word. The ‘7 Rings’ singer followed up with more tweets on the same. One tweet read, “Like your hip hop yoga class can f**n wait, I promise.”
It’s quite clear that Ariana Grande is pinpointing on unnecessary activities that can be put on hold. What you can avoid or substitute, then do so without hesitation. So many fans supported her words by openly praising her braveness.
“You make such a heartwarming difference in the society we live in today, thank you for everything,” one tweet read.
Not all responses to her frustrations were welcoming. Many fans aired their lack of option due to work. One fan talked about nurses working to help the victims of coronavirus.
Then she aired her worry about schools being closed and their children sent home. What would the nurses do? Care for their children or the victims?
While it’s a no-brainer, it worries every parent all the same. A fun accused Ariana and ‘people of her statue’ to be ignorant of the financial requirements as they urge people to stay on lockdown.
Yet no one of your statue is offering to pay people's rent, the loan to their house, house hold essentials, food, water, diapers, wipes, FORMULA for babies. All that costs money, lots of it. Where will they get money? It's great now, until its wanted back in taxes etc.

Ariana Grande has over 177 million followers on Instagram and about 72 million followers on Twitter. Celebrities with a large following should do more charity statements and activities using their social media platforms. She has also hosted charity donations on the same pandemic.
Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift have also spoken out on coronavirus and the importance of self-care and staying indoors as much as possible. Through these difficult times, ignorance is not an option.
Ariana urges her fans and everyone around the world not to take any precautions on avoiding and handling the coronavirus lightly. There’s a reason why scientists are giving us precautions as they try to contain the virus.
She went on to write, “It is incredibly dangerous and selfish to take this situation that lightly.” Hopefully, her bold choice of words helps Arianators get serious about the pandemic.
The popstar concluded, “Instead of responding with your frustration (that I totally agree with and support) call your senators! We need them to support this plan. Everyone deserves to be financially supported and feel safe at home during this time.”
