Dwayne Johnson, also known as his wrestling pseudonym The Rock, took a moment to troll “Red Notice” co-star Ryan Reynolds.

Johnson has been active on Instagram lately promoting his new Netflix film “Red Notice” in which he and the “Deadpool” actor star with “Wonder Woman” Gal Gadot. Reynolds is credited in the film as “world’s greatest con-man” whereas Gadot is credited as “world’s greatest art thief.” Johnson is credited simply as “John Hartley.”

The synopsis of the 2021 action comedy says the film is focused around an Interpol agent as he tracks down the world's most wanted art thief.

Johnson Throws Some Hilarious Shade At Reynolds

Johnson couldn’t help but poke some fun at Reynolds on Wednesday afternoon when he tweeted a photo of a Netflix billboard that read “Ryan Reynolds uses his Mom’s Netflix account” in big, blocky letters.

In the caption, Johnson wrote, “One last heist for the road. Beat that, @vancityreynolds.”

He couldn’t help but add, “For the record, Ryan’s mama is an AMAZING WOMAN. Not sure why Ryan turned out the way he did.”

He capped off the post with a plug for the film, writing, “#RedNotice hits @Netflix worldwide THIS FRIDAY! Enjoy our film.”

Although fans showered the post in heart-eye emojis, Reynolds hasn’t responded…yet.

Johnson And Reynolds Have Been Friends For A Long Time

Believe it or not, Reynolds and Johnson have been friends for almost 20 years. In a recent Variety spread on The Rock, Reynolds had some pretty nice things to say about Johnson.

In the article, Reynolds praised the “Jungle Cruise” actor’s “innate ability to always laugh at himself” despite the fact that he’s “superhuman in stature and looks and charisma and all those things.”

“And that, in and of itself, is a superpower, you know?” Reynolds continued. “I mean, that opens the door, you know, spiritually, emotionally, and literally. I think that’s always been in his arsenal, and that’s always been the thing that I think really allows people in.”

He added, “I think sort of the allure of D.J. is that to a certain extent he wears his heart on his sleeve, and there is, underneath the muscles—which are all, by the way, spray-on muscles, I found out when we were shooting—he is incredibly vulnerable.”

Does Anyone Remember The Time Johnson Ripped His Fence Off Its Hinges?

Reynolds actually had the perfect response to the time Johnson ripped his own fence off its hinges when he was late for work one day during a power outage.

In his own words, the “Jumanji” actor “tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics, and threw it on the grass.”

Reynolds couldn’t resist commenting on the post, joking, “The gate opened the OTHER way.”

Although the production of “Red Notice” was delayed by COVID-19 shutdowns, Reynolds told Jimmy Fallon last May that the film was also behind schedule due to the pranks that he and Johnson pulled on each other behind the scenes.

“I’m guessing we might’ve finished the movie if we didn’t spend 90 percent of the time d—-ing around, laughing,” Reynolds confessed. “I’ve known Dwayne for like 15 years, so we tend to spend time trying to make each other laugh, which is a really irresponsible thing to be doing with Netflix’s money. But it makes for a good movie at the end. Once you get take 28 down, you’re set!”
