While many artists have canceled their forthcoming tours in the midst of the Coronavirus spread, Justin Bieber is still planning to hit the road over the summer.
According to reports, it doesn’t look as if the singer’s team is planning to cancel the Changes tour, and while that may be great news for Justin’s fans, his wife Hailey Baldwin has mixed feelings about the situation.
Sources tell Hollywood Life that the supermodel is happy for Justin to reconnect with his fans on his tour, yet that hasn’t prevented her from stressing over her significant other’s well-being if the Coronavirus keeps on spreading.
“Hailey completely supports Justin no matter what he decides to do in terms of his Changes tour, but her main concern, of course, is his health and happiness,” an insider told the publication. “She knows how hard he’s been rehearsing and putting so much time into making it perfect.”
It’s quite interesting that Justin Bieber’s team has decided not to follow suit and postpone any forthcoming tour dates in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak, as other artists such as Madonna, Celine Dion, and Ciara have all canceled their upcoming shows for health and safety concerns.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that Justin’s manager Scooter Braun can’t rethink his decision – it’s said that everyone is simply watching how things are played out in the news to determine whether or not it will still be safe for Justin to embark on the Changes tour.
“No plans have been changed at the moment and he’s still rehearsing and moving forward with the tour until he’s told something needs to be modified or changed,” a source continued.
On March 12, Justin showed fans he was still rehearsing when he shared an Instagram video of himself grinding in the dance studio with the caption: “Teamwork makes the dream work.” Clearly, things are still looking to move ahead as planned.
If Justin is advised to postpone his tour, he’s not going to put up a fight with his management about it, but he will be devastated given how much work it’s already taken for the Canadian singer to prepare for the first set of shows.
Following Justin’s recent health problems, including his diagnosis for Lyme disease, it’s believed that the “Sorry” hitmaker will bring Hailey on the road with him. His team isn’t concerned for his health, but given that this is the first time Justin has been on tour in four years, he would want all the support he can get in order to pull through quite an intense schedule.
Justin is a natural-born entertainer who loves to perform for his fans, but being in a different city every night while continuing to take his medication and staying mentally fit are priorities that Justin won’t want to overlook once he starts traveling, so Hailey will be by his side to help him.
Regarding the Coronavirus scare and how it could potentially affect his upcoming plans, a source added: “Justin is ready to roll and go on tour and Hailey supports him all the way.”
“But in the chance the venues putting on the shows or the states where they take place make him cancel, he will abide by anything that is presented to him. But he intends to go on tour if allowed.”
