Jana Kramer Reveals the Anxiety She's Had Since Traveling to Canada, Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Just recently, the actress and country star, Jana Kramer' shared with people on social media that she was traveling to Canada to work on a film that was about to undergo production.

She assured fans that she and her family were healthy and would be careful. Well, now that the 'One Tree Hill' alum is in Canada, it seems things have taken on quite the different tone.

On Sunday, Kramer revealed that she's been suffering from massive anxiety since she arrived, which she shared on her Instagram page.

Kramer Shares She's Been a 'Bundle of Nerves and Anxiety' as Panic Spreads

"Okay I’m not gonna lie the past 48 hours I’ve been a bundle of nerves and anxiety as panic spreads," the 36-year-old said alongside three photos of her daughter, Jolie, 4, and Jace, 15-months-old.

"As we follow guidelines and quarantine here in Canada my anxiety is through the roof but as I layed in bed last night literally having an anxiety attack I woke up this morning choosing not to go straight to the news but instead do what I can."

Kramer then revealed that she planned on being proactive by consistently washing hands and staying inside with her family, which according to the country singer, was an opportunity to 'build forts' and lay around.

"Which is stay in, wash hands and protect the babies and let them have fun by building forts and playing together as a family! Fear is going to hurt more of us….or so my therapist says. Love all of you. Stay safe and wash those hands!!!!" she concluded in her Instagram post.

Kramer Receives Backlash For Announcing Her Plans to Travel for Work

On Friday, Kramer shared to social media her plans to travel with her family to Canada for work, although she didn't say where she'd be going or what project she was involved in.

The mother of two also asked for recommendations for 'kid-friendly' activities in Canada, something that caused her to receive a lot of backlash, due to the status of the coronavirus pandemic and how it's spreading via travel.

"Canada bound tomorrow for almost a month to film a movie. And the whole fam is coming with…..what are good things to do with the kids in Ottawa and Quebec City?!?!?" she wrote to her Instagram. "(Also I’m aware people are saying stay inside and not leave but I have to film and do my job and I just got off the phone with my producer that everything is a go for now.)."

On Saturday, she had received enough hate and felt compelled to respond. Once again, she took to her Instagram to defend herself. "For all the hate that I’m getting right now on my feed post about leaving, No. 1, I’m not just, like, going on vacation," she wrote to the people criticizing her. "I’m going to film a movie. I understand other productions have shut down, but where I’m going, apparently, there’s no cases. Everything’s fine,” she said. “I also know if I don’t show up, I could get sued."
