Mackenzie McKee just delivered her jaw-dropping workout body, humor, and an upside to the coronavirus all at once. The “Teen Mom OG” star is known for being the MTV franchise’s fitness queen – alongside running her Body by Mac workout plans, the Okhaloma native has also made headlines for competing in a muscle-flaunting bikini fitness competition in 2019.
Mackenzie’s most recent Instagram update was a reminder that if COVID-19 is keeping you at home, there’s still stuff you can do. Keep reading for the epic “number 2” mention – yes, Mackenzie is aware that toilet paper is getting panic bought.
Mackenzie’s post shared three workout photos. All showed the mom of three in the gym and flaunting her rock-hard body in sporty and colorful wardrobes. The first look was the most covered-up as Mackenzie wore cropped gray leggings and a pink tee – a quick swipe to the right showed a similar look in blue as the star held a kettlebell, with the final image seeing Mackenzie in a tight blue sports bra.
Yup, she’s got killer abs and rock-hard legs.
A caption from Mackenzie saw her mention both her Body by Mac business and the novel coronavirus that’s seeing people empty grocery stores to the point of bare shelves.
“Hi loves. Bad news, there is a virus going around and a lot of things are being shut down to keep us cooped up at home and safe. Good news is my #bodybymac programs can all be done right from your living room so you don’t get bored ?. Click the link in my bio and let’s get fit. But maybe hold off on anything healthy that makes you go number 2 cause toilet paper is not easy to come by ?,” Mackenzie wrote.
Mackenzie has been earning her cash as many celebrities do – it’s called promoting on Instagram. While Mackenzie’s ripped body makes her a perfect pick for weight-loss brands, the star herself generated some backlash recently as she posed with the Boom Bod brand she fronts – fans weren’t too keen on the star influencing impressionable young women to buy suspect products they dubbed “laxatives.”
Mackenzie wouldn’t be the only “Teen Mom” to have been shaded for promoting weight-loss products. Earlier this year, Leah Messer had fans unfollowing her after she promoted Flat Tummy App.
Mackenzie’s 2019 came to a tragic end as the star’s mom Angie Douthit died in December of last year – Angie lost her battle against lung cancer. Mackenzie recently took to Instagram with a photo of her mom and a caption honoring what would’ve been another birthday for her.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful, powerful, God loving, world changing, rockstar warrior I’ve ever met. I didn’t deserve to have a mom as awesome as you. Today is not going to be easy. Last year you rocked out to “Turn Back Time” and this year your rocking out with the Lord. I love you so so much,” she wrote, adding:
“I selfishly just want you back and feel your warm hug and ask you so many questions of where I belong in life or how I’m going to get through this all. I pick up my phone daily to call you. But I know you don’t want to come back, you are living your best life right now. I love you momma, so so much. I’ll see you soon/”
