Lisa Rinna appeared a little worse for wear on Friday – enough so for fans of the 56-year-old reality star to start speculating whether she might be sick with novel coronavirus. COVID-19 is, of course, the biggest talking point right now as the virus sweeps the globe. Just this week, the outbreak was confirmed a global pandemic by the World Health Organization.
Lisa updated her Instagram with a simple photo of herself in a Notorious B.I.G. t-shirt and a pretty minimal set of panties. Something about “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star” was getting fans talking, though.
The photo showed Lisa in her home and backed by a wood-paneled faucet and windows bringing in plenty of natural daylight. The star was standing in her undies and light-colored tee with very little makeup, also sporting her trademark messy-haired short cut as she shot the camera a direct gaze.
A caption encouraged people to stay safe and wash their hands, also pointing out the swift rate at which events (and pretty much everything) has been canceled.
“Mood. ? Stay Home. Stay Safe. ? Wash your hands. Don’t touch your face. #ItsAllCancelled,” Lisa wrote.
Lisa’s fans can always be relied on for honest feedback. The star’s 2.2 million followers have praised her for those famous bikini dances – they’ve also not proven so keen when it’s a bikini and cowboy hat dance to Billie Eilish.
Comments came in fast.
“Not feeling good???” a fan asked.
Lisa replied. “I feel fine. Just being safe and staying home.”
When a fan asked: “You have the virus?,” Lisa went for caps, replying “NO.”
Of course, comments did come in over the undies situation. “Pull your pants up!” one fan wrote.
The past few days saw social media rocked as 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson both confirmed they’ve tested positive for COVID-19. The couple is currently in an Australian hospital and in self-isolation.
“Hello, folks. @ritawilson and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive,” Tom wrote, adding:
“Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?”
NBA players Donovan Mitchell and Gobert have also both tested positive.
If anyone’s going to make the most of a window for business, it’s Scott Disick. The 36-year-old ex to Kourtney Kardashian recently announced that his Talentless clothing line is retailing Coronavirus merch – the “PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS” hoodie retails for $129, although cheaper items are available.
Scott updated his Instagram with a hand-washing photo of himself modeling the merch – promo also saw 24-year-old model Kendall Jenner and her mom Kris snapped in the hoodies.
As to the celebrity world overall, it’s shut-down. Kelly Ripa’s audiences are now empty, so are Jimmy Kimmel’s, and everyone from Miley Cyrus and Madonna to Billie Eilish are canceling their gigs.
