Carrie Underwood‘s career as a music face is getting some competition – from the 37-year-old’s own killer workout body. The “Cry Pretty” singer just made headlines for her new diet, exercise, and lifestyle book becoming a New York Times Bestseller – “Find Your Path” was released March 3, and its accompanying Fit52 app is already seeing people hooked.
Carrie has appeared in a new promo video for her 2015-founded Calia by Carrie athleisurewear line. The CEO was being the world’s best brand ambassador, not to mention reminding Instagram what an absolute muscle machine she is.
The video (which you can see below) showed Carrie in her element. The blonde was initially seen with closed eyes and briefly prepping for an early morning workout – it didn’t take long for the camera to show the “American Idol” winner on a spinning bike and busting out one heck of a power workout.
Carrie was rocking a girly, but muscle-flaunting wardrobe, sporting a peachy-colored tank from her Calia range, plus a pair of patterned and spandex leggings both chopping up and matching the cute top’s colors.
A caption from Calia by Carrie had thrown out a question.
“Sleep or spin? When you give yourself permission to be first, you’re better for it. #StayThePath #ChooseYou,” it read.
Fans were quick to reply.
“Definitely spin!!!! That is the best type of sweat!!!,” one user wrote.
“Sleep! But I should try spin again. It’s tough!,” another said.
As to the hardcore fans, some just couldn’t help but mention how Carrie manages to look drop-dead gorgeous even while training – “You’re even beautiful when you work out your great fantastic and beautiful,” one fan stated.
The run-up to Carrie’s book release brought an interview with Women’s Health Mag. While the feature showcased Carrie’s current and ultra-healthy lifestyle, it also touched on the past. Carrie revealed that seeing “Carrie’s getting fat” on online message boards during her 2005 “American Idol” win had gotten to her.
A period of self-starvation followed. Carrie started checking food labels, logging her time on the elliptical, and dropping her calorie intake to just 800 per day. Carrie said she let her “haters” become her “motivators” during the challenging time.
Also shared was what Carrie will typically eat in the present day. The star kicks off the day with a pre-workout protein meal of scrambled egg-whites or tofu with berries, Ezekiel bread, and coffee.
Lunch for Carrie can often be Tofurky sandwiches with veggies and mustard, with vegan chicken stir-fries being a popular dinner. As to snacks, Carrie mentioned either green smoothies or a protein bar.
Carrie’s book has proven nothing short of explosive since its release. Just type Fit52 into Instagram – you’ll see all the women giving the singer’s app a go.
