She’s best known for being the ex-best friend of Kylie Jenner. But even before they became friends, Woods was well-known. Obviously! You don’t become friends with the Kardashians on a whim.
Thanks to her parents, Jordyn grew up around celebrities. Her mother is a well-known LA socialite, so it’s no surprise the 22-year-old model made a name for herself. But thanks to her friendship with Jenner, little was known about Jordyn’s upbringing and how she exactly became famous…until now.

Like Kris Jenner, Jordyn’s mom is also a “momager.” Elizabeth Woods is a Talent and Brand Manager at Mixed Image Media and PR. The company is located in Los Angeles, California. Judging from her Instagram bio, Elizabeth also has her own management company called, Woods Management Group.
Thanks to her presence in LA, Woods is also somewhat of a socialite who’s played a role in building Jordyn’s career. It also helps that Jordy and her mom are really close!
A source told ET, “She’s [Elizabeth] like a professional best friend.”
Jordyn has always been vocal about her close relationship with the Smith family. She’s even referred to Will Smith as her uncle. And after the scandal broke between her and Tristan Thompson, Woods went on Jada Smith’s Red Table Talk show to share her side of the story.
Well, it turns out Kylie and Jordyn met through Jaden Smith, Will, and Jada’s son. At that time, Kylie and Jordyn were in eighth grade. And the two apparently hit it off from there!
Some people think Jordyn’s only famous because of her relationship with Kylie. And while her company might’ve contributed to her name, Woods has a successful modeling career.
Woods signed with Ford Models when she was only six-years-old. But according to Woods, it wasn’t her choice to start modeling at that age. So she stopped modeling when she got a little older and didn’t return until she was 18.
“I didn’t really do that by choice, as I was too young to make my own decisions then. I hadn’t really thought of getting back into the industry until I got an email from Marissa — my agent at Wilhelmina. She and the company were interested in having me as a Curve model so I thought, ‘I’m 18 years old and should try this out,’” she said during an interview with Paper.
She might not be a billionaire like her ex-friend, but Woods is doing just fine.
At only 22 she’s worth about $6 million. And she has her career to thank for that. Besides modeling, Woods has her own active brand called SECNDNTURE. The size-inclusive brand produces active clothing that’s both comfortable and stylish.
She told Women’s Wear Daily, “As a curvy woman, it’s harder to find good, cute clothing that inspires you to actually want to work out. Once I realized there was a demand for activewear, I thought, ‘why not make my own?’”
