If fans were still on the fence about whether Jenelle Evans returned to husband David Eason on The Land, they seemingly got confirmation that a reunion did take place. In a new social media post, Evans posted that she does not owe anybody an “explanation” for the decisions she makes. The former Teen Mom 2 star clapped back at fans who had questioned her decision to return to David after accusing him of abuse in November. She’d even obtained a protective order against him. Now, things are seemingly different.
The post in question was on Twitter. A follower wrote “So [Jenelle] & David are back together. And she wonders why people don’t believe her.” This post references Jenelle’s reaction to fans not believing her in the past that she had in fact left her husband to live in Tennessee. A lot of fans could not help but agree with the user, as Jenelle’s whereabouts and relationship status have long been a point of contention between her and her followers.
Other Twitter users asked how people knew that Jenelle and David were back together. One follower pointed out that both David and Jenelle have been wearing their wedding rings for the last few weeks. They’ve also been in pictures posted on each other’s Instagram accounts, and they have been photographed and spotted out and about. In fact, David posted a photo of Jenelle sitting in the bath tub on her phone. All signs point to these two getting back together.
In response to people discussing her romantic life on Twitter, Jenelle wrote, “The thing is . . . I’m living my life regardless of what anyone says or no matter wtf I’m doing.” She goes to add, “I’m not obligated to owe anyone an explanation. My life isn’t shared on tv anymore, sorry.”
Jenelle claims that she does not have to impress anybody. While this is true, many fans believe that Jenelle’s relationship with David is going to be the main reason why she loses any opportunity to appear on television again.
The thing is… I’m living my life regardless of what anyone says or no matter wtf I’m doing. I’m not obligated to owe anyone an explanation. My life isn’t shared on tv anymore, sorry. I’m not trying to impress any damn person. 🤷🏻♀️ https://t.co/ANuZjxS1Bw

Fans also reported that Jenelle has deleted the initial statement she made when she left David back in October of 2019. The statement discussed leaving David. She also told fans, “unless you hear it from my mouth, don’t believe it.”
While the words “David and I are back together” may not have necessarily come out of Jenelle’s mouth, many fans believe they can make accurate assumptions based on social media posts and reports that the two have been spotted having date nights.
