Kaley Cuoco has come up with a new way to look at self-isolation. The “Big Bang Theory” actress has already made headlines today for a mild freakout as she realized she was touching her face during her latest episode of “A Cup of Cuoco” – “IT’S HARD!” Kaley exclaimed as she realized how easily one winds up touching one’s face.
Kaley followed her 8 minutes, 25-second video with a quick Instagram story. It saw the 34-year-old admit that since we’re all looking at increasing levels of “containment,” it might be worth making the most of the situation.
Kaley spoke into the camera in an upbeat way, appearing in a dim-lit setting. The blonde’s light-blub moment was that anyone self-isolating should consider fostering an animal. Her stories came accompanied by text.
“Here’s an idea! If we are all on the verge of self-containment in our homes, how about FOSTERING an animal???”
“It could save a life and relieve any anxieties you might have during this time…CONSIDER FOSTERING DURING LOCKDOWN!” the star added.
Kaley is a giant animal-rights advocate, also herself being an adoptive parent to rescue dogs.
Earlier today, Kaley’s “A Cup of Cuoco” episode saw her discuss COVID-19. The actress opened by listing the virus now deemed a pandemic by the World Health Organization as “crazy” – while the star did acknowledge that many TV shows are “shutting down,” she confirmed that her upcoming HBO max series, “The Flight Attendant” is still in production.
Kaley also admitted that every time she checks Instagram, she sees people panic buying and stores being empty. This prompted the sitcom star to wonder what she should be stocking up on.
“I should probably stock up on coffee. That would be terrible to be out of that,” Kaley said.
Social media was rocked last night when Hollywood heavyweight Tom Hanks confirmed that he and wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for COVID-19. In an Instagram statement, the “Cast Away” actor wrote:
“Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”
Meanwhile, Utah Jazz stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have both tested positive as the NBA shuts down.
Not one to ever miss out on a business opportunity, Scott Disick’s Talentless clothing brand is now retailing Coronavirus 2020 merch. The 36-year-old entrepreneur and ex to Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram recently to promote the hoodies that retail for $129 – “PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS” is the message, although some might feel the price tag is a touch high for the privilege of sharing the experience.
Disick enlisted the help of supermodel Kendall Jenner and her “momager” Kris Jenner for the merch promo.
