The love is leaving this Hip Hop couple as Steven "Stevie J" Jordan and Faith Evanshave decided to call it quits after three years of marriage, according to court records. The famed record producer filed for divorce this past Monday at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, almost a week after J celebrated his 50th birthday.

This may come as a surprise to some as the R&B Diva posted on Instagram giving her now former beau a special birthday shoutout, telling him to "hurry up" so they can celebrate together.

Before becoming a couple, they started out as friends and have worked together under the record label, Bad Boy Records over 20 years ago. During this time, J was building a name for himself, producing classic records for megastars like 112, Mariah Carey, and the late Notorious B.I.G., who dated Evans in the early '90s.

After years of friendship and appearing on 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' since 2015, the couple made it official and married in 2018, chronicling their relationship on-screen on the show's seventh season.

The former couple even recorded a track together called 'A Minute' which was supported with a music video showing different intimate scenes of the couple as they sing about their love.

The relationship hit a rocky point last year as Evans was charged with domestic violence after being arrested for allegedly attacking the 50-year-old producer.

The arrest occurred in May 2020 after the police were called to their LA home. After a heated exchange, the stars allegedly began to get violent with each other with the cops claiming to see visible marks and scratches on Stevie's face. After being booked for felony domestic violence, the "Love Like This" singer bonded out shortly after.

While the former couple did not bear any children, they did share with TMZ how they were open to the idea, with Evans sharing how her man 'ain't shooting any blanks.' Jordan currently has six children, including a daughter, Bonnie Bella, with reality star Joseline Hernandez, with Evans having four children, including a son, Christopher Wallace, Jr., with Notorious B.I.G.

In the two-minute clip, the music stars detail they didn't expect to be married two weeks prior to when they eloped in Las Vegas but the conversation was spoken about in the past.  The singer shared the two 'dated' in the past prior to marriage, but the reality star 'wasn't ready' for something serious.

While neither star has yet to comment on the divorce, it's interesting to call out the Grammy-award winning singer has yet to change her profile picture, which shows her and J in an intimate position.

Both have left the 'Love and Hip Hop' franchise after season nine, but it would not shock the world if Stevie decides to make a return to share his side of the story for the eleventh season. Looks like we'll have to stay tuned.
