ABBA, the Swedish pop band just release a new album, called “Voyage”.

The album release and new music comes 40 years after they first broke up in the ‘80s.

The break up of the band came because of the divorce of the two couples that made ABBA, Agnetha Faltskog and Bjorn Ulvaeus plus Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

After the divorce, while the couples remained friends, singing together as a band became too hard and so they went their separate ways.

Before the album, ABBA did a concert earlier this years, also called “Voyage” and recorded new songs for it.

At the concert, there were CGI digital representations of the foursome, the ABBAtars, recreating how they looked as a band in their heydays.

The success of the concert spurred them to make music and they kept on recording songs till they finally had an album.

The album “Voyage” has been receiving good sales and steadily climbing up the charts.

Clearly, ABBA’s new music has been long-awaited by their fans who are eagerly lapping it up.
