Carrie Underwood‘s rock-hard legs seem to have a career of their own. The “Cry Pretty” singer manages to make a headline nearly every time she puts her steely-strong pins on show – given that Carrie’s diet, fitness, and exercise book “Find Your Path” has been making major waves since its March 3 release, the 36-year-old’s flawless body is getting more press than ever.
Carrie updated her Instagram recently to mark her upcoming appearance on “The Rachael Ray Show.” The singer talked cooking nutritious meals and being meat-free, and her look didn’t hide how good nutrition has left her post-baby body.
Carrie’s update showed a collage of images as she joined Rachael on-set. The two were seen hugging in front of a table filled with healthy cooking prep, with the far-right shot showing the “Cry Pretty” singer posing with the 51-year-old TV host. Here, Carrie was looking gorgeous in a pink long-sleeved top from her 2015-founded Calia by Carrie sportswear line, also rocking a tiny pair of earthy-toned shorts in glitter fabrics.
Carrie wore her bombshell blonde locks down, also delivering the smile that’s been melting hearts since she won “American Idol” back in 2005.
Carrie’s time on the show saw her speak of her vegetarian diet, with the singer confessing that when husband Mike Fisher wants meat, it’s up to him to prep it.
“I’m not a good meat cooker because I’m not a meat eater. So, I will do all the veggies and all the sides, and if he wants meat, he gonna have to make that himself,” she said.
Carrie also told Rachael that she eats eggs from her backyard – these were mentioned in the egg-white scramble breakfasts Carrie revealed during her recent Women’s Health interview.
The run-up to Carrie’s “Find Your Path” book release also saw the star reveal what she currently eats. This followed an admission that the star dropped her intake to just 800 calories per day during “American Idol” after an online message board saw a fan write: “Carrie’s getting fat.”
Carrie kicks off the day with a tofu or egg-white scramble, plus berries, Ezekiel bread, and coffee. Lunch might be Tofurky sandwiches with veggies and mustard, and she’ll happily whip up a vegan chicken stir-fry for dinner. Meanwhile, the star’s snacks can be green smoothies or a protein bar.
Promo for Carrie’s book and its accompanying Fit52 app showed the blonde washing dishes, clearing up her kids’ toys, playing the guitar, and finally working out. The latter was mentioned by Carrie in her Women’s Health feature – for Carrie, gym time is her time.
“That’s a part of my personality I need to be better with. I’d love to sit in a bubble bath, but that’s not going to happen. My self-care is my gym time, and that’s a stress reliever for me,” she said.
Carrie’s book is already flying off shelves, being in the top five on Amazon’s best-seller list.
