Thomas Markle Jr. Seeks Reconciliation With Meg Through A Public Letter On 'Big Brother VIP'

The Markle's want all the attention that they can get. This is not a statement that is exclusive to Meghan Markle, at least she married a prince! Thomas Markle Sr., and Thomas Markle Jr. on the other hand are trying real hard to make a living out of Meghan marrying the prince. After all, there was no way that Thomas Markle Jr. was getting on Big Brother VIP in Australia had Meghan not married Harry. On the show though Markle Jr. took a moment to pen a letter to his sister and her husband Prince Harry. In it, he apologized for urging Harry to call off the wedding in 2018! Was Markle Jr. actually giving Harry good advice?

Thomas Markle Jr. started out the "emotional" letter by essentially saying that telling Harry to call off the wedding, which he wasn't invited to, was the biggest mistake of his life. We're not here to judge anyone, but again had he not told Harry to call off the wedding would anyone be talking about Thomas Markle Jr. at this point? In any case, Meghan's brother started off his letter saying,

“Dear Meghan and Harry, the first thing I want to say to both of you is that I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart for the awful, mean letter that I wrote to you prior to your wedding,”

Writing a public letter to your famous sister from a reality TV show admitting that you were a “complete a--”, while blaming everything on the newly found fame she brought upon you seems like an awkward way to apologize. However, that's how Thomas Markle Jr. is choosing to go about things. At this point it's fair to say not many Markle's have exhibited great judgment in their public lives. Tom Jr. can't take all of the blame. He's admitting though that he didn't know how to handle the fame. We're pretty sure no one noticed Tom no worries! He mentions in his heartfelt letter,

“I, along with everyone in our family, became public figures overnight. No more privacy. And let me tell you it was very, very stressful to have to deal with [that] all alone and no help at all,” he goes on to write. “A real nightmare and constant pressure. I wish I could turn back the clock and do it all over, knowing what I know now.”

The same guy who told Prince Harry that his sister was going to ruin his life, talk about foreshadowing, now says that he loves them both. Markle Jr. ended his letter with comments to his sister about how proud he is of her. Although he didn't directly plea for an audience or some type of reconciliation meeting he's at least sounding a lot kinder to Meghan and Harry. Some of the last lines of the letter include,

“I truly hope you and Harry find it in your hearts somehow to accept my sincere apology because this is the real Tom Markle Jr. I truly love you guys and I want you to know that about me,”
