Kelly Ripa has shared three photos of her beautiful daughter Lola Grace Consuelos. The 18-year-old doesn’t feature too much on her mother’s Instagram – or on the platform in general – Lola’s social media was on full lockdown until 2019, with fans needing to request a follow to see any content (and have their request accepted).
Kelly updated her Instagram on Sunday. The “Live! With Kelly and Ryan” host was marking International Women’s Day, appearing to choose the one woman she dubbed to be “fierce” – Lola.
Kelly’s opening photo showed Lola in selfie mode, with the teen gazing upwards as the camera took in her stunning green eyes and facial features. Sunlight was pouring across Lola’s face, with the NYU student appearing in a high-necked black outfit, plus catwing eyeliner.
A quick swipe to the right showed Lola outdoors, at a table, and backed by greenery as she smiled in an off-the-shoulder red dress. The final image once again returned to Lola’s facial features as the brunette looked deep into the camera with her hair scraped back.
Kelly took to her caption to honor the hashtag that’s been sweeping the platform today – Jada Pinkett Smith and Lindsay Lohan are among the celebs who have marked the day.
“Happy #internationalwomensday to this fierce woman- daughter and all my sisters around the world. In celebration let’s leap ahead and lose an hour of sleep ?⭐️?♥️???,” she wrote.
The update appears to have proven a hit. Over 7,400 likes were left in just 13 minutes, with comments also coming in fast.
“She is stunning!” one fan wrote.
“She’s a beauty like her mama ?,” another said.
Lola comes with a reputation – namely, proving tricky when it comes to letting 49-year-old Kelly share photos of her to social media. Fans likely haven’t forgotten Lola’s 2019 prom photos, where Kelly admitted that it “only took 20 hours” to get Lola to green-light her posting the snaps.
“I’m surprised she let u post pics of her ??,” a fan replied.
A comment quickly came in from dad Mark Consuelos. The “Riverdale” star left his wife and beautiful daughter a string of black and pink heart emoji.
Lola wound up front-page news earlier this year after Kelly revealed that she and Mark had “shut down” their daughter’s debit card – pricey Postmates orders from Lola’s NYU dorm room was causing problems.
“I didn’t know our daughter had Postmates. She’s at college and we signed her up for a meal plan, cause we’re not monsters. We signed her up for a meal program,” Kelly told her audience.
“But you know, she doesn’t like the meals at school so she was ordering Postmates. Here’s what would happen. She would order the $7 salad but it would cost $25 dollars to have it delivered three blocks in New York City,” the blonde added before confirming that Lola’s debit card was blocked.
Lola has 204,000 Instagram followers. Today’s snaps may well see that figure rise.
