What was supposed to be a glorious night of music turned into a tragic case of death and mayhem at Travis Scott‘s Astroworld concert on November 5.
The unfortunate incident led to the loss of innocent lives while many were physically wounded. Those who have been traumatized by this event seek justice from the law against the rapper and concert organizers.
As recently reported by TMZ, a second lawsuit has been filed against the “Goosebumps” crooner and Live Nation. However, Drake has been dragged into the heat as the third party allegedly responsible for the Astroworld tragedy.
Travis Scott, Drake, And Live Nation Are Under Fire For The Astroworld Incident
Kristian Paredes is venting out his grievances with a negligence lawsuit against Scott, Drake, and Live Nation — the alleged perpetrators of the unfortunate Astroworld incident.
In the legal documents obtained by the news outlet, the plaintiff accused the three defendants of instigating the tragic event with their nonchalant attitude towards the safety of concertgoers.
The offended party pointed out that the “SICKO MODE” rapper’s previous concerts should have been considered while planning the event. However, Live Nation and the artist didn’t prioritize the safety of the attendees.
Drake wasn’t spared from Paredes’s anger as the plaintiff also blamed the “God’s Plan” crooner for failing to realize that his performance with Scott provoked the stampede that injured fans.
The outraged party sued for at least $1 million in damages, which officially made this the second lawsuit from an alleged victim.
The first claim was from Manuel Souza, a young man who was hurt during the massive surge. According to the suit he filed in Harris County District Court, the tragic incident could have been avoided.
The man claimed that the concert’s organizers ignored several red flags during the start of the event. This includes a stampede into the NRG Park that resulted in civilians climbing over the security gates and trampling on each other.
Like Paredes, Souza also wants $1 million in compensation for the alleged injuries inflicted upon him during the Astroworld incident.
The Mysteries Surrounding “THE SCOTTS” Crooner’s Concert
The Blast recently discussed the wild theories behind the unfortunate incident that caused the loss of 8 lives and hundreds injured at the Astroworld concert.
There have been rumors of a mysterious shooter whose projectile weapon wasn’t a gun but a needle. The assailant injected his victims with a strange drug that caused the crowd to panic and surge to the front.
Although some sources claimed this event was a “targeted attack,” none of these wild accusations have not been confirmed by the authorities.
The official statement from Houston’s fire department implied that several concertgoers were injured.
There was also a report that others suffered cardiac arrest due to a sudden surge of the audience that eventually caused widespread pain.
The “TKN” Rapper Was Devastated By The Incident
As reported by The Blast, the 30-year-old rapper expressed his profound remorse over the tragic event on Twitter. The father-of-one stated that his heart was with the victims’ families and those scarred by his concert.
The “CAN’T SAY” crooner emphasized that the authorities had his cooperation in unraveling the mysteries behind the incident.
The rapper has also declared his unwavering support towards the Houston community to help the victims and families.
The rapper’s girlfriend Kylie Jenner and their daughter Stormi were also present during the tragic event. However, the pair were not harmed as they were not near the front row when the surge occurred.
