Another box office success Miley Cyrus managed to snag was her 2008 animated film Bolt. The movie was her second Disney movie that caused quite the buzz. The film received four stars from Rotten Tomatoes and even critics loved the film. Bolt became so popular that the Disney giant made it into a video game for several different gaming devices, including an XBox 360! The movie even came in No. 3 spot behind Quatum Solace and the epic vampire-romance Twlight--which is actually understandable. Still, Cyrus's movies held up pretty well in theaters.

Despite Cyrus's earlier film accomplishments, the singer soon felt her acting career was faltering. During her MTV Special of MTV's Miley Cyrus: The Movement Cyrus stated that, "I did one movie and I came back and said, 'I'm never doing that again. I'm going to do music for the rest of my life." The movie she was referring to was her 2013 So Undercover film which went straight to DVD. Black Mirror

Probably one of Cyrus's greatest acting achievements has been her fictional superstar Ashley O on the 2011 Netflix series Black Mirror. The show centers on several distinct stories of people who use technology to solve their problems but ultimately discover the negative impact it has on their lives. Cyrus's Ashley O character, is a pop sensation that wants to write music from the heart, rather than what her management tells her to produce. Her life very much resembles Cyrus's career, which made it pretty easy for the star to pull of the character. Cyrus should be more confident in her acting chops.
