Lindsay Lohan still is a bikini hottie – the 33-year-old actress has more than proven it with her recent swimsuit snaps. While these have mostly been cute selfies as the “Mean Girls” actress updates her social media from the Middle East, fans may well find the famous redhead making headlines from the U.S. soon – Lindsay’s New Year’s resolution was to return Stateside to resume acting.
Saturday brought a fresh photo over on Lindsay’s Instagram. It was definitely a throwback, also a reminder that a younger Lindsay was a total bombshell.
Lindsay’s photo showed her photographed outdoors and candidly as she sat smiling from behind a pair of metal-rimmed shades. Lohan may well have been on a beach, although the background was blurred. Lindsay herself was in clear focus, rocking a sexy black bikini with a low neckline – her tousled long hair cascaded down her shoulders and across her face for a bombshell finish. Hints of the star’s bare legs were also visible.
A caption mentioned shores as well as more vague concepts.
“Great. Now give me coffee to accept the things I can and the beach to change the things I can’t. Have a beautiful Saturday ?,” Lindsay wrote.
Lindsay tends not to disable comments to her Instagram. However, she did just this today, with the only possible feedback coming in the 50,000+ likes left in the space of two hours.
Lindsay made global headlines recently for posting an old photo of herself with Woody Allen. The 2012 image sparked outrage as fans accused the actress of “supporting abusers and rapists” – Woody’s daughter Dylan Farrow has accused her famous father of sexually molesting her as a child. The 84-year-old director denies the allegations.
Lindsay appears to have deleted her image.
Lindsay stated that she wished to return to acting in December 2019, and it looks like it might well happen. The actress and “Xanax” singer is reportedly in final negotiations for a starring role alongside Mickey Rourke in supernatural thriller “Cursed.”
Elsewhere, Lindsay has made headlines for her return to music, although fans have been complaining that her promised end-of-February album release hasn’t happened. Lindsay has also yet to return to the U.S. – recent workout videos have seen the actress in Dubai.
Speaking to Andy Cohen ahead of the New Year, Lohan was asked if she has any resolutions for 2020.
“I’m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing something soon in this new year. And, you know, just taking back the life I’ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys,” she said.
Lindsay’s career has also been on the up via her judging role on Australia’s version of “The Masked Singer.”
