Pete Davidson Says That Ariana Grande 'Made Me or Created Me' on 'First We Feast: Hot Ones'

Over the last few weeks, comedian and Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson, has been making some comments about Ariana Grande and his past relationship with the pop star.

His new stand up special was littered with jokes about his ex-fiance after she was featured in Vogue and told the outlet that she dated him to create a 'distraction', among other things.

Well, Davidson recently appeared on the YouTube show 'First We Feast: Hot Ones' where guests eat hot chicken wings while they answer some tough questions. And as you could probably guess, Grande's name got brought up.

Davidson was first asked about his relationship with Grande and if he believes that she made him 'more famous'. According to the comedian, the entourage of paparazzi that accumulates outside 'his roommates' house, the answer would be a resounding 'yes'. His roommate is his mother, which Davidson jokingly shared in his most recent stand up special.

"It's really annoying because I live in Staten Island and they come there now 'cause, like, Ariana Grande made me all famous and stuff, so it’s all her fault," he said during the show. "It is! She sent the wolves on me. She made me and created me, or whatever they say."

The comedian went on to say that it's embarrassing because his family tries to live normal lives, but are themselves bombarded by the media as soon as they walk out of their home. "[It's] embarrassing and it sucks because I have a family that, like, my mom has to go to work and there's these f**king weirdos outside," Davidson explained.

The SNL star also shared that he really doesn't care, nor is influenced by the paparazzi on what he should be wearing nowadays. Something that apparently used to be important when he was in an a relationship and engaged to Grande.

"I don't really try to dress. I used to, when I had the 'gram. 'Cause you just scroll through, like, Hype Beast and you’re like, 'Oh, Off-White shoes. I guess that’s what the cool kids are wearing.'" he said.

"And then you realize, like, when you’re not online that that’s what broke kids think that’s what rich people should wear. And it’s lame. I stopped dressing at all or caring about anything like that at all. It’s a really great feeling once you finally just give up," Davidson concluded.

Just last month, Davidson got candid with Charlamagne tha God about the end of his relationship with Grande, citing her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller's death as the impetus for them calling it quits. "I pretty much knew it was around over after that," he said during the interview.

"That was really horrible, and I can’t imagine what that s--t is like. All I do know is that she really loved the s--t out of him, and she wasn’t putting on a show or anything. That was f--ked up. Prayers to his family and all of his friends."
