The stage has been set for the final chapter of the “Fast And Furious” franchise, and all that is left is for the movie’s esteemed actors to grace the big screen with their incredible talents.
Given that Johnson is an undisputed champion in portraying action-packed roles, it is not surprising that his former co-star took to Instagram with a heartfelt plea for the actor’s return to the franchise’s finale.

On November 7, “The Pacifier” star shared a throwback picture of a “Fast And Furious” scene that captured the 54-year-old in an intense staredown with the former WWE superstar.
This post was captioned with a lengthy message that expressed the “Bloodshot” actor’s desire for Johnson’s return to the finale of the “Fast & Furious” series.
Diesel is well-known for his tough-guy exterior, but he brought out his emotional side in his statement to the “Jumanji” star.
The father-of-three began by referring to the former athlete as his “little brother,” who needed to forget the past and dive into the future of the anticipated ending to the “Fast And Furious” franchise.
Despite the former co-stars’ differences, the pair were still family as the “Riddick” star’s children referred to the “Baywatch” actor as their uncle.
On the same note, the 54-year-old needed Johnson to return to fulfill his promise of creating the best finale in memory of his late friend and co-star Paul Walker. Diesel concluded his message with the warm words that read:
“I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle, you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.”
What Caused The Feud Between Hollywood’s Alpha Males?
In June, The Blast revisited the 2016 feud that led to the untimely split of Johnson’s character Luke Hobbs from the “Fast And Furious” movies.
The “Face Off” rapper joined the iconic ‘Fast Family’ in the fifth installment of the movie’s franchise, and critics credited the series’s revival to his presence.
Unfortunately, this brief moment of peace was disrupted when reports of disputes between the 49-year-old and Diesel made rounds across the media. However, nothing was certain until their Instagram showdown in 2016.
The “Red Notice” star shared a cryptic message on the social media platform, in which he implied that some actors didn’t know how to act as “stand up men and true professionals.”
This post was allegedly directed at the “Pitch Black” star, who responded with a similarly vague message. The 54-year-old stated that it wasn’t easy being an Alpha, especially when two Alphas were in one place.
As previously reported by The Blast, the Rock showed remorse about the public feud, especially his comment about Diesel being a “candyass.”
The “Moana” star stated that his Instagram confession wasn’t his best moment as it went against his true self. However, Johnson revealed that his actions were appreciated by the crew members of “Fast And Furious.”
Many have been said and done between these Hollywood giants. Still, given the “Strays” star’s recent plea for the former athlete to return to the franchise, perhaps a reconciliation will finally happen.
