Not too many people can maintain lasting friendships among each other. Some friends just come and go out of our lives, then move on. For stars like Micheal J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, friendship is forever. There may not be a remake for the Back To The Future movie trilogy but fans can take comfort in the fact that Doc Brown and Marty are besties on and off screen. Fox and Lloyd have been inseparable since their first movie together back in 1985. Now that's a true friendship!

For years, these two have remained friends and supported each other in anyway they can. Lloyd and Fox recently reunited at a charity poker tournament that helped raise money for the Micheal J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research. Fox started the foundation back in 2000 after he was diagnosed with the disease at just 29 years old back in 1991. Of course Christopher Lloyd had to come out and support his bestie. The two even shared Instagram pics together, with Lloyd captioning one photo with "Going 88mph for the Michael J. Fox Foundation Poker Night," a variation of the line he used from the movies. The two still look so cool together!

The moment the two were seen reunited broke hearts everywhere. Lloyd's comment about their reunion was a tribute to their lifelong friendship. Even Micheal J. Fox posted a few instagram photos of himself and Lloyd. The two were joined at the hip for the remainder of the night, having a few laughs, taking photos together and even played some high stakes poker. Apparently, Lloyd is an expert at playing poker, given Fox's Instagram caption, "All in with Christopher Lloyd at Michael J. Fox Poker Night!" The post alone received over 170K likes, with many fans responding with Doc Brown's iconic line as "Great Scott!" It's sweet that the two had fun together.

The poker charity event wasn't the first time the friends were spotted together. In fact, Lloyd and Fox have spent plenty of time together. Back in 2018, the two attended another charitable event called A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's charity fundraiser in NYC, which also helped raised money for Fox's foundation. Among the many stars that came out in support of Fox, Lloyd was the first to show. The two men stood side by side and with their wives, making for a great photo among friends.

The year after, Lloyd and Fox were reunited again at the 2019 Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo in Canada to discuss the wildly popular phenomia that is Back To The Future. While plenty of celebs, including Lloyd, had great things to say about the film, no one used a better reference than Fox. He compared the timeless classic to cave paintings and the gardens in France. According to DailyMail, the actor stated, "They would plant these gardens in Europe and they were just these little shrubs." His point being that the plants would live on forever, remaining beautiful and timeless, much like Back To The Future. Couldn't have said it better Fox.

The two 80's actors have had many fun adventures together, both on screen and off. The year 2019 was an especially busy one for both actors as they were seen quite often together at various events. In the spring of 2019, Lloyd and Fox also attended the 11th annual TCM Classic Film Festival. Given the festival's theme of "Grand Illusions: Fantastic Worlds In Film" it's pretty obvious why the Back To The Future cast was chosen to attend. It gave Lloyd and Fox plenty of time to catch up, too.
