There have been a ton of media outlets undertaking this story, but we have to say that Wendy Williams’ approach takes the cake. The 55-year-old talk show host made it the starting point of her March 4th show to discuss the antics of Britney Spears‘ son which occurred the previous evening. Being that The Wendy Williams Show films during the morning hours in New York City, she was definitely one of first major figures to get her opinion out there. According to Williams, 13-year-old Jayden James Federline “talked about his mom in a wobbly way.”
Williams expressed in the opening segment she gathered that Jayden was saying, “like, ‘I’m not so sure about mom, but I’ll always love her.” She held herself back from tears as she admitted that it made her feel “just weird.” Wendy had to take a few-minute segue covering an alternative topic before coming back around.
“So, Britney’s son talked about whether or not his mother will ever do music again.”
Williams then showed a short snippet of Jayden Federline’s Insta-rant, covering the above issue as well as some very touchy family stuff.
Regarding his mama’s music, lil Federline claimed that Britney told him that she “might just quit it.” He further alleged he was in shock, asking her “‘WHAT? What are you saying? Like, do you know how much bank you make off of that stuff?'” It seems Jayden hs caught wind of the world’s craving for the ‘truth’ of Britney Spears, as he told viewers that he’d spill the “whole story of [his] mom” if he gained “5,000 followers.”
As the clip concluded, Wendy literally sipped her tea.
“Time out?” the host said responding to the shout of an audience member. “Time out? You mean get out.”
“I really don’t know what to say regarding that. I really don’t like to bash kids, but he’s acting like an adult.” What was interesting to us, though, was Williams’ inaccurately saying that “he wants your $5,000. He’s also got a YouTube channel that he wants you to tune in on. He needs more followers and he needs money to tell his mom’s story.”
Please know we are not excusing any bad behavior on Jayden’s part when we say this, but – WENDY. Come on! He said he wanted 5,000 followers, and his video was live on Instagram, not YouTube!
Williams did mention that Jayden’s outburst might’ve been due to his being upset about a rather scary time time last fall. It was rumored and later confirmed by police reports that Jayden’s grandfather – 67-year-old dad Jamie Spears – got into a physical altercation with Jayden’s older brother Sean Preston Federline. The boys’ father, Kevin Federline, was later granted a restraining order on behalf of his son.
