Frontman and guitarist Paul Stanley said, "We're in the house that Kobe built," and then pulled out a Bryant No. 24 Lakers jersey and put it on. The crown started chanting "Kobe, Kobe."

"None of us would be here if this place wasn't really like a memorial to somebody who was so much more than a basketball player, somebody who's been a role model," Stanley continued.

Later, he dedicated the show to all nine victims of the crash.

"And tonight, I think we dedicate this show not only to Kobe and his daughter Gigi, but to all the people who perished on that helicopter," Stanley said. "So, let's reach back to something from Destroyer. This song says, 'Do You Love Me.'"

Twitter user Joey Sasso shared photos from the show and wrote, "KISS dedicated their show last night to Kobe and all the victims lost in that tragic crash. The whole venue was shook. That’s what makes this band that much better then any other band. By far the best show I’ve seen out of all of the dates so far on this current tour."

Less than three weeks ago, the arena was the site of the celebration of life for Kobe and his daughter Gianna. During the ceremony, Bryant's wife Vanessa gave a moving eulogy.

"I couldn't see him as a celebrity, nor as an incredible basketball player. He was my sweet husband and the beautiful father of our children. He was mine. He was my everything," Vanessa said about Bryant. "... He would do anything for me. I have no idea how I deserved a man that loved and wanted me more than Kobe. He was charismatic, a gentleman. He was loving, adoring and romantic."

"Gianna Bryant is an amazingly sweet and gentle soul," Vanessa said. "She was always thoughtful. She always kissed me goodnight and kissed me good morning. There were a few occasions where I was absolutely tired from being up with Bianka and Capri and I thought she had left for school without saying goodbye. I text and say 'No kiss?' and Gianna would reply with, 'Mama, I kissed you but you were asleep and I didn't want to wake you.'

"She knew how much her morning and evening kisses meant to me. She was so thoughtful to remember to kiss me every day," she continued. "She was Daddy's girl but I know she loved her mama. She would always tell me and show me how much she loved me. She was one of my very best friends. She loved faith, she loved putting a smile on everyone's faces."
