No, really. Literal gold.

Kate Beckinsale has updated her Instagram with a video of her cat listening to – and apparently joining in with the "Underworld" actress singing popular childhood sing-song rhyme "Old MacDonald Had A Farm."

Kate took to the platform on Wednesday night with her fluffy cat. While the actress didn't show her face – the focus was entirely on her cat – this feline's ability to miaow in at just the right moment was, as Kate's caption read: "Child prodigy."

Check out the video below.

The video showed Kate's cat comfortably nestled on her legs, with Kate appearing to wear a light gray pair of pajamas as she relaxed and sang "Old MacDonald had a farm."

The lyrics were tweaked slightly: "And on that farm he had a cat," Kate was heard singing.

Between each phrase, though, the 46-year-old paused. Her cat delivered a miaow each time – quite a skill for an animal that doesn't comprehend human dialogue.

Unsurprisingly, the video has been racking up crazy views. Over 232,000 were clocked overnight.

Replies came in fast for this video. Kate was told her cat is the luckiest around by one fan, with others opting down other avenues with their comments.

"You’re gunna end up as the crazy cat lady ???," one fan wrote.

"Very impressive... the cat too... ???," another said.

A popular comment did, however, question the cat's positioning.

"It seems that the cat is trapped," the fan wrote, with Kate replying: "No she kill u dead."

One user, meanwhile, simply asked "when's the album dropping?"

Kate's pets regularly feature on her social media – the star's two cats are named Clive and Willow. The end of February saw Kate's cat join her as she danced to Bananarama, although the actress did state that her pet was getting "fully sick of banana-related teasing now."

A yoga pants dance with Kate holding her cat was also shared (hitting 1 million views), although fans here may well have focused more on the actress' insane gym body than her cat.

Kate has also spoken out about her cat.

Speaking to "The Late Late Show" host James Corden, Kate revealed that she had to get help from feline expert The Cat Daddy as her munchkin was popping everywhere.

"I inherited a cat from a friend of mine, didn’t ask too many questions at the time about why she was giving it to me – now I know why!" Kate began, adding:

"You know when there’s a dead body on the sidewalk and they spray around it… Sometimes when I’m asleep she does it to me… but with s**t. I woke up and there was a ring of fire. Like a sort of Harry Potter protective shield. So I called in an expert, The Cat Daddy."
