Brtiney Spears has had her share of issues with father Jamie Spears, but it seems there might be a breaking point coming soon. A decade ago, the pop princess signed away her self-guardianship over to her father, becoming a conservator, giving legal and medical rights to him.
However, in September 2019, her father gave up his conservator position Jodi Montgomery, her care manager for many years. Things with the Spears family were allegedly stable and peaceful until some recent events transpired.
Spears’s thirteen-year-old son Jayden deleted posts on his Instagram and set it to private this week after revealing disturbing details about his mother and relationship to grandfather Jamie Spears. Reportedly, Jayden commented on an Instagram Live feed on how he was trying to free his mother and agreed that he should kill his grandfather.
On the other hand, he said many positive things about his mother and grandmother, mostly setting blame on the ex-conservator. Moreover, he praised his father Kevin Federline and his mother’s boyfriend Sam Asghari.
Last September, Federline accused Jamie Spears of abusing son Jayden. Allegedly, during an argument, Spears’s fourteen-year-old Sean Preston felt unsafe and locked himself in a room which Jamie then knocked down. Federline also confirms that Jamie grabbed and shook his son.
So far, the Federline family has not pressed charges. Jayden also posted on his Instagram that his father was still upset about the altercation. A law enforcement official backed up the details for “Britney’s Glam” podcast which follows her life and career.
Since Jayden’s Instagram posts, the viral movement “Free Britney” trended, calling attention to Jamie Spears’s past role as conservator. Members of this movement write blog posts and Twitter threads that detail the relationship and scrutinize specific details.
Whether or not it was an abusive power struggle is not confirmed, some of the trending movement bordering conspiracy theory levels of absurdity. However, it does bring up that Spears’s fans love her and are worried by the recent altercations and points to signs that something’s up.
So far, neither Spears nor her father have commented on Jayden Federline’s Instagram posts. The only thing that’s clear is that Jayden commented on how his mother might quit her career altogether, and signs of that path are prevalent.
The pop star has not released music and has not been a judge for the “X Factor” in years, only making public appearances for film premieres like “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”. After many years working, it could be time to retire.
