The memory of Kobe Bryant was honored this week with a new tribute video created by the Fox affiliate in Los Angeles, and the narrator is the absolutely best in the business: Morgan Freeman.

The video is a letter to Bryant and spans his entire career, his life after basketball, and his tragic death in a helicopter accident on January 26.

People were blown away by the tribute.

"Omg... absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.. thanks for posting it," one replied.

"That was so moving! Morgan’s voice talking about Kobe was incredible," another said.

"Bruh I only watched 8 seconds of this but get ready to cry again," a third wrote.

The tributes to Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and the seven others who died in the accident have poured in over the past several weeks since the tragedy.

Two weeks ago, there was a celebration of life for Bryant and Gianna. Kobe's wife, Vanessa, was among those who spoke at the ceremony.

"I couldn't see him as a celebrity, nor as an incredible basketball player. He was my sweet husband and the beautiful father of our children. He was mine. He was my everything," Vanessa said about Bryant. "... He would do anything for me. I have no idea how I deserved a man that loved and wanted me more than Kobe. He was charismatic, a gentleman. He was loving, adoring and romantic."

"Gianna Bryant is an amazingly sweet and gentle soul," Vanessa said. "She was always thoughtful. She always kissed me goodnight and kissed me good morning. There were a few occasions where I was absolutely tired from being up with Bianka and Capri and I thought she had left for school without saying goodbye. I text and say 'No kiss?' and Gianna would reply with, 'Mama, I kissed you but you were asleep and I didn't want to wake you.'

"She knew how much her morning and evening kisses meant to me. She was so thoughtful to remember to kiss me every day," she continued. "She was Daddy's girl but I know she loved her mama. She would always tell me and show me how much she loved me. She was one of my very best friends. She loved faith, she loved putting a smile on everyone's faces."

Vanessa also talked about Gianna's aspirations to follow in Kobe's footsteps and become a great pro basketball player.

"Gigi likely would have become the best player in the WNBA," Vanessa added. "She would have made a huge difference in women's basketball.

"I cannot imagine life without her. Mommy, Natalia, Bianka, Capri and Daddy love you so much, Gigi. I will miss your sweet handmade cards, your sweet kisses and your gorgeous smile. I miss you, all of you, every day. I love you."
