Could Caroline Manzo be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the series’ upcoming 11th season?
Ahead of the March 4 episode of the season 10 reunion, an insider chatted with Hollywood Life about Manzo’s potential future with Bravo and suggested that despite the drama she’s endured, Manzo is open to returning.
“Caroline loved the good moments on ‘RHONJ’ and would be very open to coming back to the show full-time, but only as a full-time wife,” the source shared.
“It doesn’t matter to her who’s in the cast, as long as Bravo comes correct, meaning a good offer and not a friend, she’d be very interested in considering returning to the show,” the insider continued.
As fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey well know, Manzo has been involved in a years-long feud with longtime cast member Teresa Giudice, who suggested Manzo was the one who turned her and her husband, Joe Giudice, into the feds during a Bravo special at the end of last year, which Manzo denied.
According to Hollywood Life’s source, Manzo is the only person who has the “is what it is attitude” towards Giudice and would be confident enough to remain true to herself during a potential encounter with her, which would surely happen if she was to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
While it is unclear where Manzo and Giudice stand with one another today, they appeared to be on civil terms earlier this year when they appeared on Sabra’s Super Bowl commercial.
Prior to filming their Super Bowl ad, Manzo and Giudice allegedly spoke to one another on the phone and cleared the air before coming face-to-face in Los Angeles to film their dramatic commercial with one another.
“They spoke on the phone before they saw one another where they said what they needed to say to move on,” the Hollywood Life source revealed. “This really helped clear the air for them to see one another and it was peaceful and respectful with zero issues.”
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in January, Danielle Staub confirmed that after starring on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in a “friend” role for its past three seasons, she was walking away from the series for good.
After rumors suggested fans have seen the last of Staub, she told Cohen she was leaving the cast to focus on her new passion: cooking.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 10 reunion, part one, airs tonight, March 4 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
