The whirlwind romance between Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers may be in trouble.
The pair met sometime in 2020 and rumors of their potential relationship started buzzing around the Internet in July. However, nothing between them was confirmed until Rodgers opened up about their engagement on February 6, 2021 during the NFL Honors Awards.
“2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season,” Rodgers said. “I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career.”
Although he didn’t call her out by name, Woodley later confirmed their engagement in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show.”
Now, however, with Rodgers’ reputation taking a nose-dive, it seems like their romance might be in jeopardy.

The Green Bay Quarterback recently revealed that he is going to be on the sidelines for an upcoming game due to a positive COVID-19 test. Although many thought that Rodgers was vaccinated, he quickly backtracked and said that he was “immunized,” claiming to be allergic to the COVID-19 vaccine.
In an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers claimed that he’s not “some sort of anti-vax flat earther. I’m somebody who is a critical thinker.”
He added that he doesn’t want to “have to acquiesce to some woke culture of crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something.”

Rodgers’ controversial statements have led to him being roasted by Jimmy Kimmel and by social media. Woodley has so far remained silent on how she feels about Rodgers’ vaccine controversy, except for a series of cryptic tweets.
On Friday, November 5, Woodley shared a photo to her Instagram page that read “Calm seas may bring you peace, but storms are where you’ll find your power.”
She deleted the post a short while later.
On Saturday, November 6, Woodley shared a post from Co-Star Astrology to her Instagram Story explaining what each astrological sign “expects their partner” to do.
The horoscope’s website initial post wrote, “Venus enters Capricorn today; time to raise your standards” along with relationship expectations for each astrology sign.
Woodley added a simple “Yep” to the post, leading fans to wonder if Woodley plans to “raise her standards.”
Both Woodley and Rodgers follow the same astrologer, Debra Silverman, which has led to rumors alleging that she was responsible for kickstarting their romance in 2020.
For any fans that are wondering, Woodley, born on November 15, 1991, is a Scorpio. Rodgers was born on December 2, 1983, which makes him a Sagittarius.
