Michael Jackson’s Youngest Son Purchases a High-Priced Mansion at the Age of 18 Years

Michael Jackson’s youngest son, Blanket, is all grown and is taking the world by storm. He is currently a neighbor to some of the Hollywood stars, having made his first real estate purchase. The 18-year-old decided to gift himself a $2.5million home in Calabasas.

Blanket will not only be a neighbor to Hollywood’s bests such as Dr. Dre but also his grandmother Katherine Jackson. The six-bedroom mansion is allegedly part of a gated community and takes up 6,400 square feet.

Michael Jackson died when his last born son was 7, and would probably be proud of him. He grew up with his grandmother, and perhaps the reason he chose a mansion close to her. He will also be living a stone’s throw away from lead O.J Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark who allegedly lives next door and John Travolta.

The apartment is a 7.5-bathroom house with three fireplaces and the same number of car spaces. The mansion also includes a curved staircase, coffered ceilings, hardwood floors, and a double-height foyer.

Blanket Is Probably Following His Elder Sister and Brother’s Lead

Although acquiring his first real estate property at 18 seems a wise decision, the young lad could be following the Paris and Prince’s lead. The two have already made their first real estate purchases, and Blanket probably did not want to continue feeling left out. Paris, his elder sister, acquired a magnificent residence in Western Los Angeles.

She spent around $3.05 million in 2017 on the residence, which is located in the Topanga Canyon wilderness. Her brother later acquired a $3.36 million home at Rancho Palos Verdes.

For Michael Jackson’s children, owning real estate properties at a young age is hardly a surprise to those who are having a clue about his estate. He was labeled the King of Pop and received a couple of music awards. He had a vast estate that has reportedly generated around $1.7 billion since his demise in 2009.

The money is shared between the three children and Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson. However, the king of pop still had a dark side, having been linked with child abuse repeatedly, although he always denied.

Following the superstar’s death, his three children have been trying to lead normal lives, although trying to follow in their dad’s footsteps. Paris has, for instance, acted, released her music, while Prince works on the business end but behind the scenes.

As for Blanket, he has opted to lead a private life while attending regular public school. Blanket has always been shy of all Jackson’s children, although they are all so close. He and Prince opened a YouTube channel, in which they focus on film reviews.
