Think of some of the most successful television shows of all time. A large majority of them either offer a huge heaping spoonful of sex, violence or both. And as the shows get steamier there's always an opportunity to tell the best stories by throwing in a little bit of skin and a little bit of intrigue. Now, with the advent of streaming services some shows that may have been inaccessible outside of their home countries can be viewed internationally. And one of those shows, Spain's Toy Boy, is about to become very popular for one main reason.

Jesus Mosquera is a Spanish actor who made his debut with Toy Boy, and it has been a serendipitous ride for him since being discovered. Distractify reports;

Toy Boy actually debuted on Spanish television station Antena 3 in 2019 and it was Jesús' first leading role as an actor. He was discovered while working out in a gym in Malaga, Spain. Originally, he auditioned for a minor role, but impressed producers so much he was offered the lead.

And the 27-year-old took the role very seriously. He made the move to Madrid where he trained with dancing and acting coaches for eight months.

Acting wasn't even on his radar initially but once he auditioned and got the part he decided to take the leap. Originally he had dreams of pursuing a career in soccer.

From the age of 12, Jesús played for several teams in Spain, including Athletic Bilbao and Málaga B. Today, he has shifted career goals but remains a fan of Real Madrid. "It's a somewhat peculiar story," he said in an interview. "The casting for the series was taking place at the gym and I went to present myself.

I didn't think I had the profile of who they were looking for or that I was prepared to do something on television or on camera. But I did it, I presented myself and three weeks later they called me for the first round of casting."

Fans are quickly falling in love with the show as well as with Mosquera who is bringing his one hundred percent A-game to the role. Check out the trailer for Toy Boy below.
