Angelina Jolie took her kids to see Cirque Du Soliel, their first big public appearance together in a long while. Jolie mostly keeps her children with Brad Pitt away from the public eye, vulnerable to paparazzi since their infancies.
Now that they’re all coming into their teens, it seems there will be some room for more public appearances. Especially during Jolie and Pitt’s divorce, the children’s images could have been reproduced against them in articles questioning their safety and health.
It seems Jolie only took two of her young daughters, Zahara age fifteen and Vivienne age eleven, and took pictures with some of the Cirque performers. One of them, Paola Fraschini posted a picture of the group on her Instagram page, commenting on how Jolie was such a beautiful soul.
“Under The Big Top” was a special show specific for Dodger Stadium, to which Jolie attended. Cirque’s current acrobatic show is named Volta and promises as many fantastic and magical stunts as past ones.
Jolie was serving looks, wearing a black slip dress, most likely silk with lingerie-style lace, complemented by a black silk scarf or shawl. Her daughters kept it simple, older sister Zahara with a black outfit, and younger gal Vivienne sporting a white sweater with patterned pants.
A girl’s night out, the ladies shined against the crazy fun background of acrobats in their costumes. A mix of neons, bright yellows, and blues, against earthy patterns of orange and brown, the Jolie cohort stood out.
One of the few times before the Cirque appearance, Tim Burton’s “Dumbo” premiere had Jolie with four of her kids. March 2019 was around the same time as her and Pitt’s separation, making it hard to take all the kids to one place without two parents watching over them.
The children seem excited, Zahara and Vivienne also in this particular outing. In the future, this style of taking the kids out in turns might be what Jolie and Pitt will have to practice as single parents.
The easiest thing in the world is taking your kids to see a movie, so it makes sense that Jolie’s film premieres are perfect for outings. Moreover, her films “Dumbo” and “Maleficent” have been geared toward younger audiences, and are perfect for her growing kids.
Pitt most likely has not been able to take his kids to his film premieres, either for “Ad Astra” or “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”. They’re good and gritty but not appropriate for his young kids yet.
