50 Cent has had issues with Oprah Winfrey for years so when she fell on stage on February 29 at her 2020 Vision: Your Life In Focus event, he knew he had to take to social media to clown her. He said “What the f*ck happen here, Michael Jackson‘s ghost trip her? This is in regards to Winfrey’s criticism in the past regarding MJ’s sexual assault allegations involving minors.
Snoop Dogg also jokingly said on Instagram that Michael and Kobe [Bryant] blew a gust of wind. This is also after Snoop apologized to CBS anchor Gayle King after criticizing her for mentioning Bryant’s 2003 sexual assault case in Colorado back in 2003 in an interview with WNBA legend, Lisa Leslie. Surprisingly, Snoop mentioned on ‘Red Table Talk’ with Jada Pinkett Smith that his mom checked him about that situation and explained how she raised him better and that Bryant’s family is none of his business.
Women such as Winfrey and King have been criticized lately by figures such as 50 and Snoop due to them supposedly not having the same energy for Harvey Weinstein the way they do for Michael Jackson, Kobe Bryant, and Russell Simmons. Snoop’s original Instagram post bashing King called for people to go after her in order to protect Vanessa Bryant’s family. He even said “Free Bill Cosby.” Winfrey was part of a documentary which goes aftre Simmons’ sexual assault allegations but backed out after filmmakers wanted to air the unfinished product at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life In Focus Tour continues to tour across arenas across America and features a huge lineup of star-studded guests such as Michelle Obama, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Gayle King, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Amy Schumer. The tour is also in partnership with Weight Watchers who she has been working with for years now. Each stop of the tour “guides attendees through a series of self-reflections, leading to a personal 2020 action plan. Special guests will join in, and an inspiring speaker will energize audiences with tools and insights to move them toward their healthiest and best lives. “
King ended up apologizing for mentioning the Bryant sexual assault case. In the interview with Leslie, she asked the former basketball star if that case complicates Bryant’s legacy. Leslie didn’t view it that way at all as she acknowledged how well he treated women and respected who he was in the basketball world as well. At the time of his death, Bryant was happily married to his wife Vanessa as the two had four children together. Their 13-year-old daughter Gianna was killed in the helicopter crash with him on January 26.
