Although the Emmy-nominated “Star Wars” live-action series “The Mandalorian” is one of the most popular shows streaming on Disney+, it has endured a fair amount of controversy.
After backing claims of alleged voter fraud in the 2020 election, Carano continued to mock mask-wearing and has now been particularly vocal on Twitter about the dangers of vaccines, claiming that the “Biden mandates are murdering these people.”
Although she was dropped from her agency, she was later signed on to work with the conservative “The Daily Wire.” However, her first film has been derailed due to her anti-vaxx stance as the company refuses to comply with federal vaccine mandates.
Considering her firm conservative, anti-vaxx stance, many fans were surprised to hear that the co-star that misses her most on set is…Emmy-nominated actor Giancarlo Esposito.

Esposito recently made headlines when he had some harsh words for anti-vaxxers, telling unvaccinated workers to stay far away from film sets.
In a recent interview, Esposito said, “If you don’t want to vaccinate, go to a small island and sequester yourself. [Otherwise] you’re saying ‘F—- you to all of you other human beings.’ We all have to do it if we want to live. I don’t understand how people don’t vaccinate.”
He added that if you are unvaccinated “Don’t work. Go ride it out somewhere where you’re not going to compromise anyone else if you get it.”
That’s why it was such a surprise to hear his response to the question “Which ‘Mandalorian’ co-star is your favorite?” during a question and answer session at a Fan Expo in Denver.
Esposito eventually replied, “Okay, I’ll say it without hesitation: Gina Carano.”
Although he does not agree with her political views or her stance on vaccines, he described her as “warm and beautiful and wonderful, and you know, I don’t care what her politics are.”
He later commended her for joining the acting game “late” and praised her authenticity, calling her “so raw and original and beautiful.”
Gina Carano Feels The Same Towards Giancarlo Esposito
I think the world of you too @quiethandfilms You make the world a better place. 💓

Shortly after, Carano herself responded to the compliment by tweeting “I think the world of you too,” adding “You make the world a better place. Love to see you shine.”
She went on to call him, “One of the best actors and people I’ve ever stood across from.”
She capped off the post with #MoffGideon and a GIF of Esposito’s character, Moff Gideon.
Although Carano will not appear in season 3 of “The Mandalorian,” which is set to stream sometime in 2022, the Internet has been buzzing with rumors that she may return to the show’s fourth and allegedly final season.
The reason for the show’s anticipated ending is due to the number of spin-off shows in development. Rosario Dawson‘s character of Ahsoka Tano, who first appeared on screen for the first time in “The Mandalorian,” has her own show “Ahsoka” set to debut in 2023.
The characters of Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) are also headed for their own show called “The Book of Boba Fett.”
The first episode of “The Book of Boba Fett” will be available to stream on Disney+ starting on December 29, 2021.
