First of all, let’s all just take a moment to do a collective sigh about this man right now. Alright, now that that is out of the way we can talk about what happened Sunday, March 1st.
As many know it is Paris Fashion week and that has been going on. Which has been a huge deal. What is an even bigger dal is Kanye West‘s actions Sunday. He decided that it was proper to hold one of his religious services.
This would have been all fine and dandy had the theatre he was doing wasn’t already taken. Phia Menard, a french transgender artist, was due to be performing there for her own show.
She, fairly, isn’t happy about the incident that happened. She claimed that the show was canceled due to “technical difficulties” and that is what her fans were told. The technical difficulties just happened to be Kayne wanted the theatre and so with his money he was able to grab it.
This, of course, was upsetting. The Bouffes du Nord told AFP that it canceled Menard’s show that because of the “technical incompatibility of the two events”. Which the incompatibility was Kanye.
We are not thrilled by this and knowing he pushed out a performer no matter the size of her fanbase. Her fanbase that was coming was under 100 people but they still put out money to see her perform on stage. That should be respected no matter who it is.
Kim and North showed up to this Sunday Service as well. Kourtney Kardashian also came to this too. This wouldn’t have been too terrible but all the family members were decked out head to toe in latex.
When did latex become a church outfit? The skin-hugging outfits on both Kim and Kourtney Kardashian left little to the imagination. This doesn’t really say they are there to really worship as much as they are there to sell the clothing and products both creators make.
In 2016 Kim was robbed at gunpoint, so it is a shock she was there, to begin with. If it were us we wouldn’t want to go back but Kim did. She showed up in latex and headed inside.
Kanye is there to show off his newest Yeezy collection. We hope that he got what he was after. We also hope he learns from this. The performer that was pushed out had every right to be there as he did. We hope he understands this but only time will tell.
