On February 3, Jinger posted a picture showing her new hair on Instagram with the caption, ‘As Valentine’s Day slowly approaches, I thought it would be nice to go for a new hairdo!’
In response to the post, one person said, ‘Simply gorgeous. The prettiest girl in the family. Inside and out.’
Only a few weeks after Jinger chose to make this bold move in changing her appearance, Lauren Duggar decided to change hers as well. Did it have anything at all to do with how much fans love Jinger’s hair?
Reddit users seem to love criticizing the Duggars, and this time things are no different. The focus of the Reddit comments is a picture of Lauren holding her daughter, Bella. The title of the thread is, ‘Is anyone else weirdly unsettled by this pic? I can’t put my finger on it.’
Many that commented on the thread seemed to agree with the comment saying, ‘It looks like she made a circle with her arms and photoshopped the baby onto (into?) them.’
Another person commented on the change Lauren has undergone since marrying into the Duggar family, saying, ‘It’s funny because before she married into the Duggar fam she would (and FAR be it from me to compliment Lauren) actually show up looking pretty current and put together. But once she got all intermingled with the Duggars and saw how fashionable and trendy the Bates girls are, I think she started trying too hard and it shows.
The negativity continues with, ‘Looks like those weird 15th-century paintings like Madonna and Child where the child is just like a small adult or something just really odd misshapen depiction of mother and child.’
In an effort to clear up the confusion about her hair, Lauren posted on Instagram, saying, ‘Many of you are wondering if I went blonde! I think this filter makes it look more blonde than what it is, but it’s more of an ash toned balayage.’
Apparently, the reason for Lauren dying her hair has absolutely nothing to do with Jinger.
Apparently, her hair had a ‘brassy’ tone that she did not like. Her aunt fixed it with the ‘ash balayage.’
Lauren is no copycat. She just wanted to fix her hair because she wasn’t a fan of it.
It seems to be a trend to attack the Duggar sisters for EVERYTHING. Jessa and Jill recently got hate for their wedding invitations from 6 years ago. Jinger got hate for her choice to move to Los Angeles and dress the way she wants. Now it is Lauren’s turn to get hate for her hair. It seems to come with the territory of being in the Duggar family.
