What Does Zendaya Believe is a 'Blessing and a Curse?'

During her interview with Vogue Australia the actress reflects on how she was able to successfully make the transition from a child actor to her recent major roles. Although it was hard for her to determine a life-changing moment in her career. There is one thing for certain about Zendaya is that she takes much pride in the work that she does thus resulting in a string work ethic. While she does focus on the matter at hand she does also plan for what is next for her.

While the actress appreciates that work she has completed for herself, she does have a different way of viewing things. Zendaya states that it is "a blessing and a curse" to look back at what shje has done for her career but also keeping in mind that it is only the beginning. So while we are able to see how well of an actress that she is it seems that she is looking at ways she can continue to better herself, which could definitely become exhausting.

While her mentality of what she has done in the past or what she is currently doing may make the star feel like it is "never enough" she continues to look forward to the future. Something that anyone could relate to. The ability to recognize your current work but knowing that there is always opportunities to grow and progress. Nothing to be ashamed of. She further talks about that while she does have accomplishments she can show for to her, the actress has the desire to do much more.

Zendaya does thankfully take the time to look back and applaud herself for times she has impressed herself. She states that it is important for her to appraised herself during certain moments. Zendaya has also shared that recently she is allowing herself to take longer breaks in order to devout her focus in perfecting her craft. Thus, is her reason for taking a halt in her filming at the current moment. She talks about the pressures of needing to "make the right move" which is why the actress is focusing on improving herself.
