Kailyn Lowry‘s nude pregnancy photo didn’t last long – the “Teen Mom 2” star’s post was approximately one hour old before being swiftly deleted following immense backlash. As The Blast documented, Kailyn updated her Instagram from Hvolsvöllur, Iceland where she’s currently on vacation.
Kailyn’s photo was her first nude pregnancy one as she expects baby number 4. The star had opted for a country feel embracing Iceland’s barn culture – as you’ll see, the snap showed Kailyn posing in nothing but a pair of boots as she stood by a horse.
Shortly after deleting the nude shot showing a bump-cradling, Kailyn replaced the image with a far less racy one. She posted an outdoor photo of herself with a friend – both ladies were seen in front of a stunning waterfall cascading over rock faces, with Kailyn looking bundled-up in a black rain jacket, hat, and white scarf.
Fans had clearly spotted the now-deleted pic, though. It was all the comments section could talk about, with a popular comment reading:
“I already screenshot the last pic ??.”
Many fans queried why Kailyn had chosen to remove her post. Backlash is, after all, nothing new on Kailyn’s Instagram, with the star generally proving one of the toughest celebs around when it comes to clapping back. The early stages of Kailyn’s pregnancy saw her do just this as fans slammed her for announcing a fourth pregnancy when she already has three baby daddies.
“Why did u delete ur naked pic?? Who cares what ppl think,” one fan asked.
“Why’d you delete your weird naked maternity picture?” another said.
Amid the comments pertaining to the nude shot, some seemed to suggest a fanbase who preferred the new photo.
“Good move deleting that picture. You are beautiful,” one fan told Kail.
“Much more classy,” another added.
“Sorry about all those negative comments about your beautiful baby bump picture….please ignore these haters. I don’t understand why people have to comment hate. Enjoy your pregnancy and post whatever pictures you want! ???,” one user kindly wrote.
Then again, others predicted that media outlets would already have picked up on the snap.
“I feel like that last pic will be on a headline very shortly,” a fan wrote.
Kailyn proved perfectly capable of defending herself when her February 4 pregnancy announcement went live. When a fan suggested that her life had amounted to nothing, Kailyn clapped back.
“Can we see something else you accomplished over these years other than making babies with different men ?,” the user wrote.
Kailyn didn’t let that one lie.
“Sure! @potheadhaircare @coffeeconvospodcast and multiple books. A bachelor’s degree, heading to law school, should I keep going? I’ll wait for your list of accomplishments,” she fired back.
