If you thought that David Eason has any regret over killing Jenelle Evans’ beloved french bulldog, Nugget, you’d be wrong. The allegedly estranged husband of the former “Teen Mom” star shared a cute video Sunday morning of his 3-year-old daughter with the family’s pet dog, but couldn’t help and throw some shade in an implied shot at Nugget, whom Eason killed after the dog nipped at their daughter last year.
Eason chose the most recent moment to highlight how he feels a dog should behave around kids … which luckily the new dog adheres to, or else we know what probably would have happened by now.
The 31-year-old aspiring blacksmith posted a video of Ensley snuggling up on one of the Eason family’s newest additions, Junior. The daughter of Eason and Jenelle Evans is seen grabbing the dog by the face and aggressively giving him kisses as he enjoys the attention and remains completely docile.
“Dogs are meant to be loved on, kissed in the face and tolerant of children’s behavior,” Eason captioned the video.
He added, “Junior is such a gentle, loving boy like all dogs should be!”
Eason’s comments on Junior can only be directed at the memory of the previous family pet, Nugget, who was brutally murdered by the ex-reality star after nipping at Ensley. As we have previously reported, Eason allegedly struck down the tiny french bulldog and threw him around the house before taking him outside and putting a bullet in the animal.
Witnesses claimed Eason was covered in blood after the incident, although he has refuted the story and claimed the incident was not as gruesome as others said.
After David Eason killed Nugget, Jenelle filed a police report, but then pulled back on her allegations and ultimately did not give police enough information for any action to be taken against her husband. Jenelle even claimed the whole ordeal was a PR stunt, until Eason finally admitted, after the investigation closed, that he did kill the dog.
In 2019 the family got two new dogs, shortly before Jenelle took Ensley and the other kids and left David. He kept all the pets, and to this day it appears they are all still alive.
Since Jenelle dropped her restraining order on David, the three have resumed being a family, but Jenelle insists they are not officially together.
In a statement to US Weekly, the former “Teen Mom” said:
<“David and I are not together as of now. We are coparenting and deciding what to do about our futures because we own a house together. We cannot sell the house until we get repairs from the housing company who built it.”
