Amber Rose has been dragged on social media after posting a photo of herself and pop princess Mariah Carey. Amber Rose was born Amber Levonchuck was born on October 21, 1983, in Philadelphia, . Roses father is of Irish and Italian descent and her mother is of Cape Verdean African and maternal Scottish descent from Ayrshire. Rose grew up quickly as she reports that she started stripping at only fifteen years old. Rose’s career took off in an upward direction in 2008 when she made an appearance in Young Jeezy and Kanye West’s “Put On” music video.
Rose’s appearance in West’s video got his attention and motivated him to persue her for other business ventures. All of these professional endeavors have inspired a large following on social media with over 19 million. Recently her Instagram fans blew their fuse on Rose’s Instagram post. Amber Rose posted a picture with Mariah Carey captioned, When you’re both light skinned, bright skinned multiracial goddesses but one is talented and the other one is a h**,” the 36-year-old captioned the Feb. 27 snap, taken backstage at the singer’s Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum.”
Following the post one follower made sure to comment, “This caption screams colorism.” Another person takes to Twitter to vent writing to the public, “Amber Rose has been telling the girls for years now that she’s beautiful & blessed because she’s light skinned & the dark girls just been hating on her for it. She does this, she gets dragged, she apologizes, & then she does it again. It’s not new, it’s just clearly how she feels.” Fans have taken to social media to confront Rose on her seemingly immature picture captions.
