Mikaela Spielberg, the controversial 23-year-old daughter of director Steven Spielberg, is currently in police custody after being arrested for an incident at her home in Nashville, TN.
Spielberg was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to Radar Online, who first reported the news.
Spielberg allegedly lives with her fiancé, Chuck Pankow, but it’s unclear if he was involved in the alleged domestic violence incident, or any other circumstances behind the arrest of the “Jurassic Park” director’s daughter.
According to an inmate sheet from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, and obtained by The Blast, Spielberg was taken into custody around 6:30 AM and is currently being held at the Hill Detention Center.
Spielberg was officially booked into jail just before 8 AM and was also assigned a pod, as the young woman is not eligible to post bail until after a mandatory 12-hour hold. The inmate sheet notes that the hold is due to “domestic violence.”
The “E.T.” director, nor his wife, Kate Capshaw, have yet commented on the arrest.
Mikaela Spielberg’s arrest comes days after the adopted daughter of Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw gave an interview to The Sun and revealed she was getting into the adult entertainment business.
Spielberg told the outlet she had always been a very “sexually natured” person, and “I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body.”
She followed through on her promise, and set up an OnlyFans site, charging customers $20 per month to view her “solo” photos and videos. Spielberg currently has 979 subscriptions.
During her interview, Mikaela implied that both her father and mother were supportive of her foray into the world of adult entertainment. However, other reports have since surfaced that claim the “Jaws” director is not ok with the situation, and frankly even “embarrassed” by it.
A source told Page Six:
“Outwardly, Steven and Kate — who are the most evolved parents in the world and love their kids beyond all measure — have always been supportive of Mikaela and try to understand her. Obviously, though, they’re embarrassed by her sudden public admission of entry into the sex worker world.”
