Carrie did mention her app, then stating that nutrition was a contributor, but there's something you can buy and apply in your bathroom.

"I keep my macro numbers — which is your calories, carbs, and protein intake — in check. The second is a good self-tanner or body bronzer. I like Ofra Cosmetics RCK Body Glow, a tinted lotion with a bit of shimmer. If you want your legs to look toned, believe me, a little shimmer goes a long way," she said.

'I'm Not The 5 A.M. Workout Type'

Carrie has 5-year-old Isaiah and 1-year-old Jacob to raise – alongside juggling her music career and fitness line.

"I exercise when I can," she continued.

"Sometimes I’ll do it seven days in a row; other times it’s only twice a week. I take the opportunity when I have it, knowing that some weeks I won’t be able to exercise as much, because I am not the 5 a.m. workout type," Carrie stated, also adding:

"I need my coffee and breakfast first, and then I get my children on their way, so I’m a midmorning-workout person. But I weave fitness into my day."

Likes Home Workouts Because 'Nobody Is Judging You'

Carrie continued by adding that the whole competitive gym scene isn't her jam.

"No one is judging you in your own house, so why not make chores active? I turn it into a game, like if I’m picking up my kids’ toys off the floor, I’ll do a squat each time I lower myself down. These little moves keep up my energy, especially on days when I can’t get in a full workout," she told the magazine.

Carrie's book has been getting a lot of pre-buzz over on her Instagram, with its #fit52 hasthtag appearing just today in a photo of Carrie stretching indoors.

Carrie's athleisurewear line has proven popular since day one. 2016 saw it rank third after Nike and Under Armor at Dick's Sporting Goods. Fans mostly ranking it highly on the quality front – not all are fans of the price tag, though.

Carrie's book is set for release on March 3. Carrie joins other celebrities who've made fitness a part of their career – Khloe Kardashian has done it with her "Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian" series, with model Jordyn Woods having recently launched her FrstPlace plan.
