How It Came To Be
Daly talked about Shelton and Stefani's wedding during an episode of the "Today" show in July. He revealed that he actually gave the idea to the pair, which was writing their own vows for the ceremony. The radio personality said the couple was "reluctant" at first, but they eventually agreed.
"At the wedding, Gwen starts, and she wrote this, saying 'since I was a little girl... blah blah blah' and she crushes. Not a dry eye in the church," Daly said. "It was so perfect that I said to Blake when she was done, 'Top that, buddy.'"
Shelton has been married twice. The first time was to his high school sweetheart, Kaynette Williams, and next to country singer Miranda Lambert. Meanwhile, Stefani married rocker Gavin Rossdale, and they have three kids together.
