The most recent season of TLC’s Sister Wives is delving into material that was filmed about one year ago. This means that fans feel pretty out of the loop with the current relationships between Kody Brown and his four wives. While many fans assume the relationship between Meri and Kody is rocky, they long assumed that Robyn, the newest wife, is his favorite.
This may have changed.
Robyn has been dragging her husband on social media recently, and she’s also been more outspoken against her husband on the show. Is the honeymoon over?
While Kody might claim he does not have a favorite wife, fans have seen some gaps in the polygamist’s relationship with the four women. Viewers have long believed that the family up and moved from Las Vegas to follow Robyn’s oldest son to college in Flagstaff. Viewers also suspect that Kody spends most of his time at Robyn’s house and little to no time at Meri’s house.
If the show’s viewers are right, things could have been slowly changing in the last few months.
Robyn, who often live-Tweets the episodes of Sister Wives when they air on Sunday evenings, recently commented on Kody’s cynical behavior. She called him out for throwing a tantrum because his four wives did not want to live together under one roof. He spent much of the episode talking about how the behavior of his wives have made him rethink plural marriage.
Robyn Tweeted, calling Kody a “little baby brother.” Some of her followers thought this was very funny and agreed with her, but others told her that posting on social media was probably not a great way to handle the issue.
So let me get this straight…Kody used to like seeing us getting along but now because not all of us agreed on the one house idea he doesn’t like it? Hmmm… little baby brother much? 🍼👶🏻

Sister Wives viewers believe that Robyn might be upset with Kody’s manic and idealistic outbursts. Longtime fans of the show have seen Kody change his mind over and over again. One minute, he is talking about moving back to Utah. Another, he is talking about how Las Vegas was meant to be the family’s permanent home. Some viewers of the show are quick to point out that Kody is inconsistent. In an earlier episode of the show, Robyn called Kody out for giving her “whiplash.”
In another Tweet, Robyn brings up a question. While Kody frequently discusses the benefits of one home for the men in plural families, Robyn asks if having one home is the best solution for the women and the rest of the family. In essence, Robyn is calling out Kody for having some selfish thoughts. While Kody would not longer be forced to drive from place to place to see his wives, each wife would be sacrificing her individuality to live under one roof.
Viewers look forward to seeing how the next few episodes will work out, especially if the family begins building its new home (or set of homes) in Flagstaff.
I think it is interesting that Kody is talking about how the one home is the ideal for men who have plural families. Is it ideal for the wives? Or is it about each family and what works for each family?
