Jessa Duggar may be known for her appearances on Counting On with her siblings, but she will now appears on another TLC show. That’s right: Jessa will appear on Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta. The network announced her appearance on February 26.
Of course, we already know that Jessa is married to Ben Seewald. In fact, they have three children together already. Instead, Jessa will appear alongside Ben’s sister and some of his other family members as they look for a beautiful wedding dress for Jessa’s sister-in-law.
Jessa’s sister-in-law, Jessica, will head to Bridals by Lori to shop for a dress she can wear as she marries the man of her dreams. We already know that Jessa is a very conservative and rocked a very modest look at her own wedding, and that attitude is going to make an appearance in the episode.
Jessica is actually a little less conservative than Jessa and the rest of the Duggar clan. We already know that Jessica is going to choose a dress that is a little less modest than the one Jessa chose for her big day.
Jessica is also different from her sister-in-law in a few other major ways. For one, Jessica is a police officer. This is a marked change from the lifestyle Jessa and other Duggar women live. The Duggars have expressed a belief that women should stay at home and raise children while her husband goes to work each day. It is clear that Jessica is more career-oriented, and this is probably going to show in the way she shops for a wedding dress.
Fans were able to watch Jessa shop for her own wedding dress on 19 Kids and Counting. She shocked some viewers by setting her gaze on a blush dress rather than a stark white one. She also choose a short-sleeved top that resembled a t-shirt on top. She bought her gown at Tesori Bridal in Fayetteville, a little bit closer to home than Atlanta. Jessa claimed that it was only the second dress she tried on, and everybody fell in love with it instantly.
If you love TLC shows, you will want to stick around for the upcoming season of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta because you will see some other familiar faces. You’ll also see country stars Maddie & Tae on the show this season as they shop for bridesmaids dresses. Brandi Williams will also appear as she shops for a unique gown. Other couples who appear this season include a same-sex duo trying to appease their 11 bridesmaids.
Catch all of this and more on Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta premiering March 21.
