On February 27, Jenner sat down with DeGeneres to discuss the current state of the Kardashian empire. Although initially discussing how the family was gearing up to film the 19th season of their hit show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians,' Jenner decided to completely shift the discussion. She began conversing about why her daughter Kourtney decided to leave the show, and how she just "needed a break," also reassuring fans that all of her daughters love filming the show otherwise.

The mother of six also revealed that she was indeed the mastermind behind her daughter Kylie's viral "rise and shine" video showing her daughter Stormi waking up to Jenner's sing-song hello.

Beyond that, the pair began discussing pets. Jenner mentioned that she had recently adopted a puppy named Bridgette, but then joked that there was a silent "K" somewhere in the name, she just would not reveal its location. When she adopted the puppy back in January, it was revealed that Chrissy Teigen's new dog had also been birthed in the same litter.

DeGeneres then went on to make lighthearted jokes about Jenner's puppy having high-end designer doggy toys seemingly everywhere. Jenner retorted that her boyfriend Corey Gamble's mother had actually sent over a bunch of things for the new pet right after Jenner had acquired it.

Beyond that, the pair got to talking about the ties that draw them together, specifically, how their now-famous dogs are actually related, saying that they are now '"in-laws" because of where they both ascertained their dogs from.

"We’re in-laws," the Kardashian matriarch stated to the talkshow host.

"Yes, I’m in the family money," DeGeneres jokingly responded, causing the live studio audience to laugh and applaud her.

DeGeneres then went on to reveal that her wife and her had also rescued a dog recently, and strangely enough she was the individual to make the connection for Jenner to that specific litter of dogs.

"The minute [the dog’s owner] walked in with [Bridgette], I was in heaven," the reality star commented about the day she took home her puppy.
