With the song first being sent to radio stations on January 27, and on February 7, we all got a taste with a lyrics-only video. Now we finally have a music video for Taylor Swift's The Man. Taylor Swift literally transformed into "the man" in the music video. You can see the process of Swift being transformed at the very end of the video. Not only did she star in the video, but this is her directorial debut as well.

The video opens up with Swift as "The Man," walking through an office very similar to the one in "The Wolf of Wall Street." She even extends her arms just like in the film. Then a lyric to the song confirms that is exactly what she was going for. The lyric are, "And we would toast to me, oh, let the players play/ I’d be just like Leo, in Saint-Tropez," considering that is what Mr. DiCaprio likes to do often.

Scott Borchetta

One of Taylor's biggest problems right now is that her masters were acquired by Scooter Braun when he purchased Big Machine Records. Who is the CEO of Big Machine, you ask? Scott Borchetta. Next up on the list of subtle digs, Taylor snuck in is the scene on the subway, where there is an advertisement on the right-hand side. The advertisement for "BO$$ SCOTCH," as fans are quick to point out sound quite similar to the phrase "Boss Scott." What do you think?

Dating Life

If there is one thing that has chased Swift around her entire musical career is dating rumors. Who she is dating, who she isn't dating, etc. There has even been speculation about what song is about which ex she's dated in the past. She went to bat and tackled it in the video. In the video, we can see "The Man" reading a newspaper. Nothing strange about that, except that one headline in the newspaper reads "What Man Won the Year in Celebrity Dating?"

Her Masters

You gotta love it when she really puts the nail in the coffin ever so subtly. After getting off the subway, "The Man" stops at the 13th (her favorite number) street station to, ahem, urinate on the wall. The wall is covered in graffiti, and all of the words are the names of her masters, including Reputation, 1989, Fearless, Speak Now, etc. But it gets even better if you hone in on the scene. On the right side of the wall? There is a sign on the wall that shows no scooters allowed. Is that the best thing ever?

'Mandance' Film Festival

Swift's documentary "Miss Americana" premiered this year at Sundance Film Festival. Well, a poster on the wall retools "Sundance" to become "Mandance Film Festival." The film is titled, of course, "Mr. Americana." Then the star of the documentary? Not a Taylor, but a Tyler Swift. There are plenty of other Easter Eggs, but these really stood out. There were some guests on the video, too. At the end of the video, Swift has a conversation with her alter-ego (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), during the tennis scene, the umpire is none else then Taylor's own father, and TikTok star Loren Gray.
